Delmyra Kennels

I have boarded my dogs multiple places and have never had any problems. I specifically asked whether the pricing was in and out per day or for a 24 hour period, as I felt the price was expensive and I was charged differently - when I questioned it I was given nothing but attitude. For what I paid I could have sent my dogs to Westport, paid for the hours gas (and time), and my digs would have had daycare as well as boarding. I was very disappointed and I will not bring my dogs there again. more

Obviously someone has a personal vendetta. Delmyra is without a doubt the best, cleanest, most pleasent atmosphere you could board your dog in. Sounds like your dog has some issue ""phd8150"". We used to bring our dog there. After a couple of visits, our dog who was happy going everywhere, hated it there worse than going to the vet. We are not sure what the problem was, but gave us a very bad feel. Living nearby we have noticed a worker leaves her dogs in a van outside all day in all kinds of weather rather it's 100 degrees or 10 degrees. I have a 6 yr old german shepard who can have an attitude. I had never put Charlie in a kennel before, I was a nervous wreck. I checked out different kennels either they were dirty small or I didn't feel he would get the care I wanted. I couldn't just leave him somewhere in a 3""x6"" cage. I am very please with Delmyra. They put me right at ease. They had the indoor outdoor kennels which I wanted. I Felt it would be better for him. The lady came over to Charlie started talking to him he took to her. She took his leash to put him in back meanwhile I was picturing all these bad things (he can be a brat). Once she put him in the kennel she let me go back to see that he was ok. I even called when I was away they put my mind at ease. When I came back to pick him up he was clean & happy. I got there early so they didn't know I was coming so they didn't have time to clean him if need be. I have read horror stories of other kennels. I will use them again. I would highly recommended them to any one. Pros: Understanding Clean & Pleasant Cons: I found none more
