I was very impressed with the friendly staff and the timely manor in which x-rays and preliminary exam went. Then I moved into the hygentist's chair and experienced excurciating pain as she picked away at my teeth. NEVER have I had this bad of an experience in the hygentist chair in my life. I am very disappointed since I have moved from out of state and it is impossible to find service comparable to what I have been used to for the past 20 years. I had hoped to speak highly of this visit, but unfortunately I left with a VERY sore mouth and doubt in my mind that I may need to look for a new dentist. more

Dental Experience at Dr. David De La Garza's Office. 9/27/2011

I had a very good experience at Dr. De La Garza's office. I was promptly led to the dental chair as soon as I signed in. The dental assistant was friendly and courteous. She treated me very nicely, and I was done in about 30 minutes. Dr. De La Garza has always been personable and easygoing. He and the staff made my experience very enjoyable. more

Unhappy Patient! 9/26/2011

I was not impress with Dr. De La Garza service nor was pleased with the Veneer on my front tooth. The color was 3 shades off and he refused to correct it. He wanted to charge me again.. Very unhappy! I'm happy to say, I went to another dentist where my Veneer was corrected perfectly at a fraction of the cost of Dr. De La Garza. more

First visit - OUTSTANDING 9/9/2011

A very inpressive dental practice from beginning to end. Personnel are knowledgeable, proficient and friendly. The first difference we experienced was that the administrative people were completely familiar with our dental plan (Delta Dental). After this pleasant beginning, our first visit continued flawlessly. Dr. Garza's dental practice has its act together. more

Best Dental Appointment Ever! 9/9/2011

I have been to lots of dental appointments in my life and this was the best. From making the appointment to checking out, great care was taken to make me comfortable and informed about my dental health. The hygenist took great care of insuring my comfort and cleaning my teeth. Dr Garza did the most through examination I have ever had. I will only go to another dentist if I have to move from San Antonio, which I hope never happens. more

I would like to start by saying I have needed to go to dentist for a long time and have prevented going because of fear. My experience with the office from the start was great! Great feeling when making appt w/ Pearl and her calling me back to give me reminder and explaining what my insurance covers. Coming in and being welcomed to the office, being called in within 5mins, the hygienest was amazing with making me feel comfortable and explaining everything, the detailed explanation from the doctor of what needs to be done and lastly having my out of pocket for services needed. The office was great and I have recommended the office to my co-workers. more

Great 1st Time Visit 7/20/2011

We just moved back to San Antonio and had to find a dentist. I checked reviews and found. Dr. de la Garza had 4.5 stars. After my appointment today, I have to give both he and his staff 5 stars. The girls at the front desk were pleasant, informative and extremely courteous. Kris, the tech, did a great job of cleaning/x-rays. But most of all, Dr. de la Garza was okay with the fact that my teeth are healthy and didn't try to "find something wrong" that would bring me in for more work! Because of that...I trust him. And trust is vital in a dentist/patient relationship. more

I was a new patient today. I got a phone call to come in early if I wanted because of a cancelation. I was welcomed with great parking and a smile. I had to wait less than 5 min in the waiting room. Ny experience was an ease. Everyone was super nice... Fillings are a cheep price 2. more

I was very impressed with Dr. De La Garza. He and his staff were thorough with their check-up, and he didn't recommend any services that were not required. I appreciate that given the fact that it has happened at other medical/dental professionals I have seen. I will go back again. more
