Daylight Rangers

Scott arrived a little late due to DFW traffic. However, he made up lost time by installing the solar tube in a little over an hour. There was no mess to clean up, and Scott was very efficient in handling the task at hand. We paid the agreed to price by plastic. All in all, the decision to have this energy saver installed was a very good one. Since that day, we have not had to use any lights in the bathroom or hallway during the day, even if it is overcast outside. I highly recommend Daylight Rangers for their friendliness, cooperation, patience while we considered everything, and their professionalism. more

Daylight Rangers did a great job siting and installing our two solatubes earlier this year. I love the extra daylight and the fact that the sunlight is not fading anything. Everything went just as expected, except Scott was a tad late because he had to travel from Plano to Arlington in 25 minutes. That doesn't happen even on a Sunday at 6AM. The install took just over an hour, and the result has been fantastic. We hardly use the light in the bathroom except at night. This saves energy. more

I have had nothing but amazing service with this company! I have had several tubes installed in my house, some of them replaced existing skylights. The work was extensive in removing the existing skylights and during the consult, before any work was done, the estimator explained to me exactly what was going to happen and what I could expect. I was so surprised about all the work they could accomplish in just a matter of hours. They were extremely professional and when the job was complete, they left my house cleaner than it was before they started. As far as the amount of daylight that these tubes bring in, it is better than any skylight that I have ever had. I catch myself trying to turn off the light switch all the time, even though the light is not on. I really can't stand it when people use these sights to try to tear down good quality company's. I would recommend Daylight Rangers to anyone who is interested in bringing in natural light into their houses, whether it's replacing existing skylights or not! We had Solatubes in a previous house so there was never a question about product quality. But the real concern was installation quality--with holes being cut into our brand-new roof by strangers. Fortunately Daylight Rangers came through with flying colors. The salespeople were not only trustworthy but looked for ways to save us money. The installation team was completely professional. I watched as the senior member of that install team double-checked every step done by the junior member. It was subtle, maybe so the junior member didn't even see it happening, but I saw it and was very appreciative. (By the way, nothing needed to be fixed, because the junior guy did it all perfectly, but two sets of eyes made sure of that.) Scheduling was easy and communication was often and clear. They even got the city-required permits for us. So, yeah, Solatubes are great. But what's really nice is knowing the holes in your roof were done right by people you can trust. I highly recommend Daylight Rangers. The only downside is that you'll want to put more Solatubes in after you see how well the first ones turned out. more

Installers were very helpful in determining position ot Skylights and also very professional. Tubular Skylights a great addition to our home. They have made it a brighter and more cheerful environment. more

A quick note to recommend a great product, Solatube, and a real home grown local company. Solatube Daylighting Systems bring in natural full spectrum light to interior rooms formerly limited to artificial light. My bathrooms located in the center of the house were convenient for all but always required artificial light. Now our mornings are filled with mood enhancing natural sunlight with color matching capability just like natural sunlight. Great way to start the day. Daylight Rangers, local dealer for Solatube, is courteous, knowledgeable and timely. The Daylight Rangers staff is family oriented and offer family values to their clients. They show up on time, handle their business, and depart without leaving a mess for their clients to clean up. more

These guys have installed two Solatubes and a solar attic fan over the years. I have one in my home, one in my business and an attic fan on my roof. Love them. Great products and service. No leaks. We had three solatubes installed in our home in Denton two years ago. Two of these have the light fixtures inside and utilized existing holes in the ceiling. The solatubes really do brighten up the areas where they were installed, even on cloudy days. We don't really have to use artificial lighting in those areas during the day anymore. If they were any brighter I'd have to wear sunglasses indoors. We have had zero problems with our solatubes. The office staff were clear about scheduling appointments for a quote, an installation time, and an alternate time if there were bad weather (it was thunderstorm/tornado season). The person providing the quote and the installer showed up on time as expected. The installation price was exactly the quote we received, and the installer took his time to do the job right ("measure thrice, cut once"...our dogs weren't happy that he was here for so long, but they got over it). Additionally, he was super attentive to keeping the house clean and vacuuming up even the dust created. I have recommended Daylight Rangers to my neighbors who have asked about solatubes. more

I had a small drops of water coming from the skylight area after it rained.. Peter spent a lot of time surveying my skylight and didn't see any obvious problems and gave me a couple of options on what I could do. more
