Can't tell you much for thier plumbing skills, but for HVAC work, thier charges are outrageous. After spending 3 days with temperatures inside the house dipping below 52degrees, I was less inclined to argue about them charging $350 to replace the transformer that I had already diagnosed as the problem. The sham is the service call. I guess the $65 service call is just to drive to your door. They will then charge you $145 to diagnose the problem with your furnace. Right off the bat, your bill amounts to $200+ and no parts are yet added. The technician did affirm as I suspected that the transformer was the culprit. The charge for the transformer and installation was $269. I became quite angry at that point, and argued that a transformer could not cost more than $30. He argued that it was my responsibility to pay an outrageous amount for parts so that they could stock parts for their business. Although this may be a regular practice for the government, most would operate with inventory as a part of being in business... Pros: I have heat now. Cons: I paid dearly for it. more

These guys are the best!!! Everybody is great. I would call on the phone and Ken, Robin, and Brian always made me feel like an important customer. David came out several times to help me get the best bathroom possible then he went on vacation and Bruce and Steve came out so David could pass the baton and have a smooth transition. Steve did a great job and it looks great!!!! Also got it done in a timely manner. I am reccomending them to any one with plumbing issues. Great company to work with and they had lots of patience with my changing my mind and adding more to the job. But it's worth it!!! more

We had Day & Night install an exterior service cleanout to make regular maintanance on our 100 year old ceramin pipes a bit easier. They are very gentle with our pipes and have the experience to work on our rootbound problematic system when Rotorooter couldn't finish the job (and broke their tool off in our system because they were being too rough). Day & Night responded quickly to our emergency situation that Rotorooter had caused and finished the job.\r \r With our most recent problem, Bruce Sr. himself stopped by to lend expertise and offer us some solutions. They were not pushy, and the prices were good. They even were kind enough to offer us a generous break on prices since we're getting married in a month and things are tight. Thank you Steve and Bruce and the rest of your team! more
