I have 2 daughters that dance at this studio... I have been here for 7 years and wouldn't ever want to go to another studio... My oldest does compete .. And we mostly come out on top at the competitions ... I barley see any studios that are even on our level, My girls and I have made so many friends at this studio.. it's like our home away from home... The Director never gives receipts, expects you to order things and MAKES up prices. Agreed that my daughter could do a solo in the summer and then changed her mind b/c she wouldn't choose between cheer and dance. She just wants your money. The girls are not taught by professionals, but by their own peers! Dont waste your money here. I would try out s[otlight which is where all of their girls have gone anyway. Parents are notified of expenses days in advance ( sometimes the day before). If you are not a butt kisser, you don't find anything out b/c only a particular group of parents and the directors make all of the choices. The girls are not treated equally at all. The director is not friendly or out going in my opinion and the dance studio itself is anything but professional. Save your money they are overpriced in my opinion and extrememly unorganized. Classes are cancelled left and right and all they ever want is more money. Only the seniors are treated well. The little ones are always put on the back burner, The same dance is always used and it seems like the director only prefers a ""certain"" body type. Pros: Nothing----they do produce trophies, but it's b/c the same dance is used every year! Cons: No receipts, always asking for money, constant class cancellation, ""cliques"" rudeness everything! more

I read the previous the review and could not help but write one myself. My daughter started dancing with Dance Explosion this year. She is 6 years old and is a part of the competition troup. The parents, the students, the teachers and the directers are some of the most amazing and wonderful people you will ever meet. They accepted my daughter immediately and treated her as if she had been dancing with them all her life. The talent that they have and share truely takes your breath away. They offer everyone the opportunity to grow and become a better dancer. When I walk into the dance studio, which by the way is not small, I feel as though I am waling into a roomful of friends. The most important part is haw happy my daughter is. She lives to dance and would not ever want to dance anywhere else. She is constantly challanged and I am watching her skills grow every day because of the people here. Whether you are looking for your child to take a class or two, or something more, I would highly recommend Dance Explosion! In my opinion there is no other studio that compairs. My daugther danced here for numerous years. Unorganized and very petty. Parents who are friends of director make decisions. Competition driven. Long hours and $$$$. The reason we stayed so long was they use to have the best techique and teachers. However most of them are gone now. Even the ones displayed on their page are not full time teachers. Studio is small and has recently moved to smaller location due to lack of enrollment. Pros: not professional, $$$$ Cons: Nice costumes more
