Every once in a while, when my wife and I have some extra money and need a romantic night out, we almost always end up at the Daily Catch on Harvard. The atmosphere is a strange mix with quaint decor, blackboard menu, and the small open kitchen.
The Lobster Fra Diablo is one of the best dishes in the greater Boston area, with freshly killed lobsters (if you're a squeamish wimp, don't look toward the kitchen after you order!), mussels, clams, shrimp, and squid dressed with a marinara that even this marinara-hater loves. The seafood is consistently fresh and of high quality.
The signature squid ink pasta is also fantastic, as are all the classic Italian pasta dishes. It'd be nice if the breads and salads could be as inspired as the entrees, but with such great seafood, that's just nitpicking.
Pros: Fresh Seafood, Consistent Quality, Perfect Entrees
Cons: Few Tables, Inconsistent Sides
