Coach Adams is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL driving instructors equally unprofessional 9/19/2014

I dealt with Coach Adams last year and I am not at all surprised to read the negative reviews. He lacks professionalism on a monumental level. He screams at students and parents when he and his staff are the common demoninators. He clearly lacks professionalism and has severe anger issues. It is evident he is useless with adolescents. His voice makes my skin crawl. I would never recommend this company. The only recommendation I would make for him is to find another day job. more

Good Overall 7/8/2014

The classes were good and although i had to be charged for the schedule2drive site i get that it is not affilated with the driving school so it was okay. Also getting to go online to schedule my drive times was so much easier then getting assigned my drive times one of my friends went to the other school and she got assigned all 7 of her drive times at the end of the class and she could show up to half of them and they did not make any effort to reschedule it! I would suggest going to this school they are friendly. Although the owner can raise his voice sometimes on the phone everything gets done in a timely manner! more

I highly recommend Cypress Driving School 9/13/2009

Good: I liked the fact that my daughter was given all information on the first day of class and that Coach Adams held a Parent Meeting on the 4th day of class to give more detailed information and to answer any and all questions and concerns. I also liked the simulators, they were free standing units, looked like a driver's area in a car. I also liked the teachers and staff, they were very helpful. They even had notaries available so I didn't have to waste time trying to find one to notorize the DPS document.. Bad: Not much Not to Like, my daughter is a very good driver because of what she was taught at Cypress Driving School.. Improvements: My daughter told me that some of her classmates were disruptive during instruction time and that the teacher quickly got them back on track, so I would like to see more Parents remind Their children that They are in this class to Learn; Not to Socialize and Not to Waste everyone elses time.. Other: There were some additional charge like the cost of the learner's permit charged by DPS, $14.95 (a one time charge) charged by Schedule2Drive which is the web site used to schedule all driving lesson, and if you want your DPS document notarized by the Notary at the school it is $5 - $6. This is a very good driving school. They delivered on all that they promised.. more

Everything on the Website is a Lie!!!! 9/10/2009

This is a joke. This place does not offer what it advertises on their website, everything is a total lie. First the simulators that they speak of, is a folding metal chair with a steering wheel, my daughter didn't even get to use it. Second, there are so many hidden fees. You pay the main cost about $400.00, then oh yeah, you pay again to register on the diving time website, then again to schedule with a driver, both about 20 bucks. My daughter said it was a crock, so over crowded and no one really helps. Also, the permit they claim to do, yeah right, once you pay and get there and the first part ends, they tell you, well, we can do it, but it will take weeks, it would be much faster if you do it. Thanks! The people are so rude and not helpful. And you cannot even schedule any drive time because the schedule fills up within minutes and you can only schedule one drive time per schedule, so hope you have time to schedule drive time once a week for the next 7 weeks. This place needs to be overhauled, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! more

Teen learning to drive 8/25/2005

I recommend Cypress driving school . My teen was ready to drive and needed formal training. We were referred to Cypress driving school because of their trusted reputations and patient trainers. My teen had such a great experience. Now that shes licensed I feel more confident with her behind the wheel knowing she received the best training course to prepare her. Teens tend to not listen to their parents when being taught to drive, so this company really comes in handy. The price scale was very fair. Everyone was very friendly and professional. more
