Effective deep tissue massage 7/19/2008

Cynthia has been my massage therapist for the past 2 years. Her years as a professional ballet dancer contributes to her knowledge and experience as a massage therapist in a unique way. Massage therapists know the muscle groups, but Cynthia understands how they work. I am a triathelete but also enjoy riding dressage. I first saw Cynthia due to discomfort I was experiencing in my back Over the years I have focused on strength training and have not spent much time stretching. As a dressage rider, I rely on my core to ride my horse from my seat which requires strength and relaxation. Tense muscles in my back and pelvis have inhibited my ability to ride effectively. Cynthia's deep tissue work has allow me relax and be more effective and successful in my riding. Working with Cynthia has been successful for me because she listens. She heard and understood what I was experiencing. From this information, she has created a plan to help me to be more successful in the sports that I enjoy. more

Definitely recommended!! 7/12/2008

Cynthia is one of the most compassionate, and talented massage practitioners I?ve worked with in the past eight years. I have gotten many massages and as a LMP I can say that Cynthia is talented and skilled, which is a rare combination. She has strong hands and a definite flow, wonderful, wonderful massage. Highly recommended!!! Pros: stong, kind, very skilled Cons: NONE!! more

What type of touch do you need? Cynthia can handle it with grace... 6/20/2008

Cynthia is a great practitioner who I have been receiving massage from since she started a few years ago. As a dancer, athlete and general mover and shaker, I need strong hands and a person who knows how to not only treat injuries, but relax the body too. Her abilities run the gamut from soft and relaxing to strong and deep. Just tell her what you need and she'll respond with a sensitive touch. I recommend Cynthia to all my friends knowing she will make them feel great. With all of the massage therapists in this city, it is comforting to know that this is one lady I can depend on. more

Cynthia Callison rocks! 6/20/2008

Okay, I admit it. I'm partial to Cynthia. She is an awesome massage therapist, and does deep tissue massage. She is easygoing, but professional, with a great conversational nature (if you want it,) and quiet if you don't. Her massage is EXACTLY WHAT IT SHOULD BE, a deep tissue change that is what muscles really need (knead). I am always looking forward to her treatment and have referred probably over a hundred people to her over the years. Everyone has been pleased, with the feedback I've gotten, and I'll continue to refer to her whenever I can. Its like referring someone to the Herb Farm for dinner or to the Space Needle for the view... it's a no-brainer. Pros: Deep and light touch. Great understanding of the human body. Cons: None. more
