Be ware....
I have been a satisfied customer of CVS Pharmacy for years, mostly at the Northoak Trafficway drive up locate. Just recently I switched to the Swift Ave location, what a BIG mistake....
Yesterday (05/03/12), I asked my daughter to stop by the store to pick up a shower chair for me. I told her to ask for an associate by the name of Jackie. Jackie was very helpful in assisting me with choosing a chair over the phone. However, when my daughter got to the store, Jackie had left for the day. My daughter then spoke with Alicia, another associate, who directed her to the isle of the medical equipment. After spending several minutes in the isle and not finding the chair, my daughter went back to the front of the store, but not until after observing the associates in the pharmacy area not assisting customers. She asked Alicia if someone could assist her in finding the chair, because she couldn't find it. Alicia, in a rude and short manner said she was the only one working the floor (as if to say CAN’T YOU SEE!!!), and that if she didn't find it, then they must be out. My daughter explained to her that I had spoken to Jackie earlier today and that Jackie told her the product was in stock. And then she asked Alicia if someone in Pharmacy could help her. Miss rudeness stated that she doubt it and left it at that. At this point my daughter was pissed and started to leave the store. On her way out, she decided to go back and get the rude associate name to report her, but ran into an associate from the Pharmacy who was able to assist with finding the chair.
During the check out process with Alicia words were exchanged and other white angry customers joined in against my daughter. At this point the situation had become VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and SCARY….. Why a member of management was not in the store to defuse the situation was beyond me. Alicia’s behavior was inappropriate, hateful not acceptable and in my opinion she should be fired.
The next day I called and spoke with Chin, a member of management. He said he was aware of the situation and had spoken to Alicia, telling her not to do it again. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!! I informed him that effective immediately, I will no longer be doing business with CVS…..
