Cummings Studio Chocolates

The chocolate covered strawberries have become a Valentine's Day tradition in our home. They taste so good. Be warned that they will cost considerably more on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. During the holidays be prepared to stand in line. I have also tried their chocolate covered grapes and raspberries and the strawberries are my favorite. Their selection of hand made chocolates are also delicious. more

I think that overall, Cummings has some really good chocolates. I did have one bad experience with them though. I purchased some of their chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered raspberries. I took them home and my husband and I ate them. I stuck with the strawberries only because I don't care for raspberries because of the seeds in them. My husband ate 2 and then on his third one, he bit into it and I noticed there was MOLD growing throughout it. He of course spit it out and because of that neither of us could eat anymore. The rest of them got chucked in the garbage can. Maybe this was a freak thing--but just make sure you check your chocolate covered items before you eat them. more

Cummings has the most amazing chocolates! Although I lived in California at the time, for my wedding, we special ordered some of their chocolate sandwich mints because there just aren’t any others like them! If you go into their shop they offer free samples. They make delicious truffles in all kinds of flavors. You can leave your personal information on file with the shop with detailed information on what your favorite kinds of chocolate or truffles are in the shop and then when friends come in and want to order a box (or if you are one of those people that can’t remember all of the names of your favorites when you pick up a ½ pound box) then they can pull up your information and fill a box that is designed custom for you! more
