There aren't too many places to go ice skating, but the Ice House will always be there! Most of the surrounding schools play their hockey games here, so it is nice to see all of the fans coming in. You are able to rent skates for a low fee, and they have a small food stand to purchase snacks from. It is not too big, so it's a nice place to bring the family! more

Where to go to skate 8/17/2005

The Crystal Ice House is home to many hockey players and figure skaters. There are three ice rinks there to accomodate them all. They have hockey leagues and ice skating lessons. They also have open skate on a very limited basis which is the one thing I don't like because the times are just not that convenient especially with kids. You are able to rent figure or hockey skates there for a nominal fee. They also have a snack bar for when you get hungry. And if you want to get more serious about either sport, there is a pro shop on site to help you with your skating needs. more
