What a great Hotel! Lovely new rooms with everything you could possibly need. The beds were heaven! Very comfortable and very clean. Great friendly service\r The room was very spacious we were really able to make ourselves at home and spread out .The food was ok.\r I will not consider any other Hotels in this location Than Crowne Plaza. more

Great Hotel & would stay again 10/11/2011

When we arrived at the crown plaza in Houston we were greated with great desk clerks. They were very helpful. The room was fantastic!! Very clean . The Bed was also Fantastic I got a great night sleep! My only concern was the restaurant service was slow.I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to any one.\r Sabrina more

Cant forget the beautiful design and interior of this hotel . I went for vacation and spent 3 nights it was amazing. very convenient location. I waited a bit at the reception it was a bit crowded but seing their servicemake u forget. the service was perfect..if i come back to Houston I wouldnt choose other than\r \r The Crowne plaza Suites.\r \r Jeb more

We booked the Crowne Plaza Sugarland as a "safe option" for the beginning of our trip and were not disappointed - it met our expectations fully and we had a very enjoyable 3 night stay. The room was a decent size with a nice beds,the staff were friendly, the gym was decent, and the bar area had a good atmosphere when we went for a nightcap! We felt it was in a good location - not too far from everything.\r \r The Room Service Was great. more

An impressive property. As a Priority Club Platinum, I got a nice room upgrade. The staff throughout the hotel could not be better. The rooms are well set up for business, Nice pool this hotel is the complete package for business or leisure ... highly recommended. more

The hotel room was spacious, and clean. The bathroom was cozy but had all the essentials. We have stayed in nicer Crowne Plazas decor-wise but have never experienced service like it! the hotel is perfectly located . I would not hesitate to book this hotel again - the staff are a credit to IHG, the rooms were pleasant and the location was perfect! Who could pass up the warm cookies that greeted us? Janet more

booked this place through Hotwire.....my mistake....not in Sugar Land at all....place is dirty and needs lots of repairs...food is expensive and not any good....$25 for a breakfast buffet....our room was old and musty, needed painting.....Hotwire says this is a 3 1/2 star place...called them and they basically said ....'tough'.....never again for either Crowne Plaza or Hotwire....Motel Six is better than this place. more

Overpowering cologne/cleaner smell 5/6/2010

Check-in was ok and front desk staff was too busy on the personal phone calls. The hotel is quite dated. When we walked into the lobby, we were greeted with a strong cleaner/perfume smell that became overwhelming when we entered our room. Parking and hi-speed internet are free, but lack of maintenance in the hotel ruins the experience. more

I went to visit family. The location was excellent. I was very happy when I got there it felt like a 5 star hotel. Ali was very nice he opened the side door and escorted me to the front desk.Great place. Great Pool. more

My only hotel in houston when I travel 4/6/2010

I stayed at this hotel last week and it was absolutely superb in everyway, They have recently remodeled and the suites are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms had everything I wanted included everything i could think of including a complimentary safe, which I thought was very nice since I have to always have to hide my valuables or take them with me. The staff was superb and eager to please me. The cook who made my omlette in the restaurant did an excellent job and was most personable.Millie and Ali were Excellent. This is the best hotel I have stayed at for man years and the rate was very reasonable as well. I will be sure to stay here everytime I come to this city more

I found a rat on their stairwel! Obviously the moment I saw it, and immidiatly checked out. I did not care if they would give me a certificate for a free night or dinner, no way I will be back here!! I want to vomit every time I remember that thing looking at me and moving its tail! more

I had to stay at this place due to a meeting I was attending this week. I didn't like the hotel. The staff seemed ok, but it was a noisy and a dangerous area to be in. I will not recommened this place to people with small children, or anyone who likes to be in a safe and less loud area. more
