Crosstown dinner is one of my favorite places to order from. The food is hot when delivered and always delivered on time or earlier. There has not been one time when I have received my food late or had to consider making a complaint over the phone. There food is excellent and done just the way you like. more

The delivery service is tiptop, food arrives piping hot and fresh. They call you immediately if there is any discrepancies (ie item unavailable). Ordered twice and will do again. more

Go for the Burgers! 5/1/2011

Recently reviewed by the Daily News as having the best burger in the Bronx (3rd in the City), my wife and I went to check it out. Naturally, we had the burgers, which indeed put to shame any diner burger and bar burger I've had in the City. It's the beef that's the thing, bought at a nearby farmer's market. Plus, they give you all the options and you can put it together anyway you wish, from bun, condiment, cheese and four different types of fries. The service was excellent and the atmosphere, pure diner. Enjoy! more

OK for breakfast food... 8/12/2010

I know the family - they get a 4 - but they have had ups and downs like all establishments... great burgers and of course, at 2 am great breakfast! - a Throggs Neck Tradition - they are OK.... Usually clean with a nice atmosphere. more

This truly is the best diner in the bronx. The food is great and the service is excellent. The owner of the diner is friendly and courteous and he takes care of his customers. more

When my wife and I hear Crosstown Diner the first thing that comes to mind is "breakfast". Been eating there for years and this was the first time we had delivery. Food arrived hot and prepared to order. Would definitley order again. more

Oh no!!! 6/7/2007

Were what I called ""politely rude"". Refused to serve a very minor request, citing a ""health code violation"". BTW there is no such health code. I would know, I work in the health care field. I have speculated on why the request was denied. But that I will leave for another venue. Why spend money in a place that isn't interested in service? more
