Found these guys through http://www.nejex.com (i think they're partial owners or something). I thought i knew what i was doing but they really showed me the man behind the curtain... showed me how dealers buy diamonds, pricing structures and all the Rapreport stuff. they didn't push anything on me. I picked my stone, then they built from scratch the exact ring Kelly was asking for and saved me another bundle of cash. Thanks guys!! customer for life here more

Read a review that said they had a "small selection".... not sure when that was true about this place. Way more than any MALL store I've seen and specializing in high end certified diamonds and fine jewelry... allot of which they make custom to order. if you're budget is under $500 to $1000 your going to be a tad frustrated b/c you'll most likely have to order from a catalog. don't get me wrong, these guys can get pretty much anything you'd want and for far better prices. But the showroom in Newton (think they have an office in Boston as well but not sure) is super high end. They've been taking care of my family and friends for about 7 years now. Walking in is sometimes tough b/c they do most of their business by appointment. Which is actually a nice thing. they will spend as much time as you need with you... they totally reveal the "man behind the curtain" with diamond pricing and how dealers buy. I was blown away when Mark told me what he paid for the diamond i was buying. Who does that??? Awesome!! anyway, thanks guys! you rule. good luck with the national sales thing you're doing. stick it to those online brokers more

You do kind of wonder how they stay in business, but the owners have other (unrelated) businesses. They are just a small place behind a hair salon -- it seems totally random. They don't have a huge selection, but they do carry some very basic items. We bought our wedding rings here -- they gave us what seemed to be a very good prices, got the engraving right, and they got it to us earlier than expected (and quite quickly). The owner is very friendly and willing to give you lots of information. It's a nice family place where the emphasis is on service. It's not a big place where you're going to browse around. Gold is their specialty. more
