Scott Kemp and the staff at Crippen saved my day. My daughter turned 16 on March 15th. Being the procrastinator that I am, I thought I was too late to buy her a special gift. On the morning of her birthday, I visited Scott, looked at a few cars and by the end of the day, we were able to surprise her with the car in the garage when she came home from school. Awesome job Crippen! Thanks for making her birthday more special! more

I was very pleased with Crippen because they did what another dealer couldn't. I was looking for a 2008 Maxima, and thanks to Crippen's finance department I was able to buy it three days later. The experience was good all around, from arranging the test drive to signing the papers. They have never fixed something on our cars that didn't need fixing. I want to share what a positive experience I had while purchasing my Mazda 6. Dick Freeland was professional, not pushy, and a personable salesman. I've had my car for about 3 months and have not experienced any problems. It's a nice smooth ride with great gas mileage. Very sharp looking too. more

Finally, a service department that doesn't have me questionning my decision to have my car worked on by a delearship. It's very comforting as a woman to know that I can trust the mechanic to not try to sell me something I didn't need - just an honests, safety-minded opinion. I truly appreciate the guys that work on my car, and have referred many of my friends. I have confidence, and I'm happy to say that I take my car to Crippen for service. more

Excellent purchase experience 11/12/2010

Really enjoyed purchasing my new Mazda 6 at Crippen. Sales staff (esp. Al Bozzo) was very helpful, polite, and considerate during the entire process. We felt very comfortable and were never pressured at all. Everyone was very respectful and thoughtful about our needs. The final touch was allowing me to actually drive my new car out of the large glass showroom stall. That was great! Thanks to everyone. more

Great Experience 11/11/2010

I recently moved back to Michigan from Florida and about a month after I had moved back I was on my way to lunch and was in an accident in with my Impala. What a horrible day, luckily I was able to get my car towed to Crippen which was very close to my retirement home. I thought my new Impala was done for. Matt and the guys in the body shop did an excellent job of calming me down, not only did they help me with the insurance call they assisted me in getting my rental car, called me regularly with updates and got my car back to me in less time than promised looking brand new! I will now be taking all my business to Crippen. Thank you again for all your help! more

Great Experience 11/11/2010

Walked into Crippen Auto Sales a couple of weeks ago pretty much by chance after leaving another competing dealership down the street. I left Crippen after purchasing my new 2011 Buick Lacrosse. The salesman, Kyle, was extremely helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. He not only showed me what was available, but explained all the options. When I left with my new car, he helped me set up my Bluetooth OnStar, and other features. I was very impressed. more

Obviously we all have the opportunity to go anywhere for dealerships and fortunately I have been going to Crippen for many years--I have always appreciated their professional service and courteous sales staff---I know I have helped sell additional vehicles through word of mouth and after working for GM for 35+ years any sale was a bonus to everyone here in the Lansing area---I have worked primarily with Scott Kemp and have been thrilled with his personal assistance and attention to detail--whether its a new car or service needed Crippen makes my visit very comfortable and that is why I continue to return more

I have been a customer of Crippen since I purchased my first car in 1988 - over 22 years ago! Since that time, I have purchased or leased many new and used vehicles. I continue to return to the dealership for every vehicle my family needs because of their professional, knowledgeable and courteous sales staff, particularly Scott Kemp. In addition, their service department is also first-rate, highly competent and friendly. Crippen definitely lives up to their motto that "Honesty and Integrity are Everything!" This female would not go anywhere else in Lansing for a new or used car! more

This is why I don't trust dealerships 3/16/2010

I recently had Crippen do some work on my Pontiac. I was satisfied with the service until I went home for a weekend and had the family mechanic do some work on my car unrelated to what Crippen had done. Upon getting my axel assembly repaired my family mechanic informed me that the part repaired by Crippen was maliciously installed and prevented them from performing the necessary repairs on my car without having to buy a new part that technically I bought at Crippen. I suggest you take your vehicle to some place other than this mechanic shop....and trust me, I use the term "mechanic" loosely! more

Honesty and Integrity 5/18/2009

Crippen Auto Mall is by far the best Dealer and Serivce in the 36 years of buying vehicles and obtaining service. They have always done exactly what they say they will and with perfection. I support this dealer and service department with the same honesty and integrity that they display all the time. In fact, come see the Great Deals on June 20th, 2009. Worst customer service 7/24/2006

Probably the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I went to get my car serviced and the employees (at least 7 of them) all stood around hanging out for 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. When one did help me, they dismissed the problem I told them I was having with my car and said they would see if they could find something, eventhough I gave them the exact error code off the car computer. Very rude to females and very unhelpful. They are the ones who give mechanics a bad name. Take your car to another Mazda dealership if possible more
