My daughter has attended Creative Minds since she was 6 weeks old. She is 4 ½ years old now and we absolutely feel this is the best child care facility in Sugar Land, Richmond & Katy area. I work in Sugar Land but reside in Richmond off west park toll and Hwy 99. With that being said our options for childcare were endless, especially having easy access to the surrounding cities. What I love about Creative Minds is their learning programs start as early as the baby room. I strongly feel education and self enrichment begin at a very early stage. So knowing that even the babies had a curriculum was amazing. As part of the Pre-Kindergarten program now my daughter is academically without a doubt ready for kindergarten this fall. I have several friends with children the same age always comment to me how my daughter is more advanced in comparison to their children. All of that I owe to the teachers of creative minds. They have always worked hard to make sure that my daughter is academically where she needs to be. They have been so loving towards my daughter since day one. She absolutely enjoys going to school and always comments how much she loves her teacher. I have never experienced any problems with class structure or class overcrowding. We’ve never had any major injuries due to lack of care. Of course we have our occasional bumps and bruise that every child experiences playing with other children, but anytime there is an accident whether big or small the director/teacher contacts you immediately and makes you aware of the situation. Looking back now I remember the day I brought my six week old baby girl to Creative Minds it was the hardest choice I had to make leaving her in someone else’s care. Creative Minds helped mommy make that transition and made me feel assured that she would be taken care of, but they didn’t do just that they did so much more. Creative Minds is absolutely the best choice we could have ever made for our daughter. more

WONDERFUL SCHOOL! 1/13/2011

The teachers at this school are trained and professionals. They treat each child as though they are their own by caring for each child’s particular needs. They abide by state regulations and keep the parents aware of any changes. They keep my son safe and happy. Each parent is provided a door code to get inside to the area that leads to the children. Incident reports are provided and signed by parents in case of even the slightest accident. The educational curriculum is wonderful [my teacher is keeping up with Fort Bend’s guidelines!]. Good meals are provided. They have fun activities for the children to learn and have fun at the same time. WONDERFUL PLACE TO LEAVE MY CHILD AND FEEL CONFIDENT THAT EVERYTHING POSSIBLE IS BEING DONE TO KEEP HIM SAFE UNTIL MY RETURN! more

wonderful family-owned school 1/13/2011

We began going to CM in February of 2008, and nearly three years later, we're still happy with our decision to move there. One of our children has since moved on to ""big kid school"" and the other will be moving to the same private independent school in August. Both have been well prepared for the challenging academics ahead of them and both enjoy going to school each day, which suggests a strong foundation in the love of learning. I gratefully credit the nurturing teachers and kind administrators at CM with fostering an enjoyment of daily school in our children! more

I don't recommed this school. 8/17/2008

I have a 4 year old daughter and she has been going to Creative minds since she was 5 months old. When I first started her there I really liked how they treated the children like their own. I have been noticing though throughout the years that they are very short staffed. For example: In the morning when I drop her off there is no one up in the front. I am very concered about this because any body could walk in. Also the teacher in the 3's had 16 kids in the room by herself. They were not listening and it looked like the teacher really just about had it. This has happened many times. Also there have been many times were I have brought my child in at the beginning of naptime and the teachers had combined the 3's and the 4's. There were 38 children in this one small room with only one teacher. I like the curriculum of the school but it seems like they violate a number of different codes. I have recently pulled my child out of this school and have put her in a different child care center. I am much happier now. Pros: Good curriculum, nice teachers Cons: short staffed, lack of supervision more

Great child care 7/6/2006

Our toddler has been a student at Creative Minds for six months now, and we've been very happy with the school. I'm most impressed with all that he is learning - he is under 2 years old and they do lots of art projects, have new vocabulary each month with stories and songs to go along with them - they have a weekly calendar with set activities each day around a theme. The teachers are all very caring and have been there a long time - I was concerned about staff turnover when I was looking for a school. But the best review comes from my son - he's happy when I drop him off and when I pick him up. Pros: caring attentive staff, developed curriculum, clean facilities more
