I have a loan and I have to go to the hospital this month and I explained to the manager or tried to and she went to her supervisor who was in the local office and whispered something to him. He came to the counter with my contract and shoved it in my face and said either I pay now or he was going to repo everything I have mortaged right then. They couldn't wait to see what is going to happen with me at the hospital. He became very agressive towards me and I wen ahead and paid them. I wrote a letter to the manager that I will set foot inside of their office and I will be sending money orders which will be postal money orders and a certified return receipt to prove they received their money. There was no need for the rude, unprofessional, and aggressive behavior. I talked to a person who had once worked for the company and they had NOTHING good to say for the company or the supervisor. I WILL NOT recommend this company to anyone. RUN RUN RUN from them more

Please stay away from Covington Credit,I had to take out a loan because my husband got hurt,well this was the 2nd loan and I really did not want to do it because these people are rude and hateful,they lie and if someone puts u as a reference and they r late on a payment they call the reference and hound u to death,i went to them in the first place because a friend told me how great they were then my friend got behind on her payments and i started getting calls daily over her debt,i was a reference not a co-signer..these people are just stupid,when i paid off my note and had to borrow more money they wanted 5 new references so that made 10 references,which made no sense because i was never late on any of my payments they wanted more colaterral than i had on the 1st loan,then they pulled a fast one on me i gave them 8 things then without me knowing it they also added the colaterral from the paid off note...which is against the freakin law..today im calling a lawyer about it and also talking to the lawyer about them harrsing me over my friends debt,also a friend called and said he was my husband and wanted to know the balance of my note and they gave him the information without asking him for any form of id....what a bunch of loosers my goal is to sue them and try to shut them down they do things that are against the law and get by with it...enough is enough...STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOAN COMPANY...... more

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!\r I have a good friend who took a loan with them and they called me and proceeded to tell me this person's loan was in default! How rude they are! Ask for the person but don't expose their business for everyone to know. Cheesy operation, low class employees also! more

Covington credit really worked with me a few times I couldn't pay and I appreciate them a lot more

I applied for a loan from these women today. I was told they would get back to me in an hour. Since I was about to leave the house, I called them back at about 10 minutes before that ""hour"" to check on the progress. I was met with some of the most appalling customer service I have ever come across! They were treating me as if I were ALREADY behind on a loan I hadn't even ESTABLISHED with them yet! Even the aforementioned Hispanic woman acted like she didn't want to do business with me! I canceled the application IMMEDIATELY, and, after they rudely hung up on me, called them back to let them know what kind of bitches they really were. I actually thought Covington Credit was a corporate business, because I remember a Covington Credit opening in Orangeburg, SC when I lived there...Apparently, they are only a local business that treats the customers any way they want.... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY WILL GET YOU IN TROUBLE. Cons: PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! more

I walked into Covington credit today for the first and last time in my life. I witnessed a young man being treated as if he were absolute trash.From what I heard this young man was only a few days overdue on his loan repayment. Well the so called office manager of that institution did not even have the decency to discuss the matter in private with him,instead she embarassed him infront of everyone that was in there with her aggressive and condacending manner.This to me no matter what the persons age or situation is,is not acceptable and by no means professional.I will certainly not encourage anyone to do business with these people.Since I mentioned this to a few of my friends and work collegues they have also told me about the bad things hey have heard about Covington credit. STAY AWAY is all I can say.That hispanic woman who works there should be sent to finishing school and taught the meaning of respect . Pros: no pros Cons: unmannered , rude staff working there. more
