Courtyard On St James Place

I've been a bridesmaid in 4 weddings in the last 16 months and had my own reception this last July at the Courtyard on St James Place. I don't know how anyone can say one negative thing about this place. the 4 other brides and I shared much of the same guest list and I had more compliments than all of them combined. I got so many ""best wedding ever"" and ""oh my god the food"" not a single detail was missed. From the very beginning my coordinator was on point and basically treated my like her only bride. On my wedding day she went out of her way to make me feel calm and pampered. I trusted her to follow though with all of our meeting notes which she did and then some. I could not have asked for better service. Thank you Lori for making my dream wedding come true and for working so hard SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT! I had my wedding here on 6/26 and it was my dream wedding. Hedi was amazing and helped us through every part of the wedding from the planning to keeping us on schedule at the wedding. We had our ceremony outside and the reception inside the garden room. Everything was beautiful and ran very smoothly. The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome. The staff were professional and experienced. They even packed a to go bag for us to take home! Everyone who attended out wedding has complimented it highly as well as the facilities and staff at Courtyard on St. James. Pros: staff, food, decor, everything more

Our wedding was Saturday April 10th, 2010. The morning started out rainy, but the sun came out perfectly on cue. Pros: Romantic Venue, great food, Cons: Venue will double book a wedding for same day and time more

This place is great. It has the best salsa (pico de gallo) and iced tea in Houston. Try the shrimp and scallops (plate or salad), it will not disappoint. more
