Rude rude rude 5/27/2011

After looking for a preschool for my son and reading all the negative reviews of Country Day, I decided to judge for myself how crass the director really was. She proved to be non other than exactly that..CRASS. She rubbed me so wrong over the phone that I'll NEVER recommend this school to anyone. I don't care how long some of the teachers have been there. I bet you any money the entire staff secretly can't even stand her. more

I made the mistake of recommending this school to a friend after knowing first hand the owner is a miserable person. The friend eliminated the school all together after a brief conversation over the phone with the owner. She determined that a bad attitude from owner will just breed through the rest of the school. more

THE BEST IN JUPITER!!! 2/16/2011

Mom A is SO in the minority and so out of line. My kids have been going there for a very long time, and it just gets better every single day. The teachers not only know the kid's names, but they know each and every one's personalities, moods, likes and dislikes, needs...it is remarkable. AND, all of the children know all of the teachers in each of their age group's classrooms. Talk about socialization. They trust all of the loving, nurturing teachers, and at the end of the day they flock into Diana's office for goodbye hugs and kisses. Plus, they are getting an incredible education, and if you cannot see that, go elsewhere! It sounds like you are the one having the problem, not your kids. There are too many of us who LOVE LOVE LOVE Country Day, and, quite frankly loathe mothers like you who bad mouth such a great school. We know who you are, and really do not appreciate your comments, which are mere rantings. The teachers and the owners deserve better. My suggestion...LEAVE! more

Underdog School 2/3/2011

This school has a terrible problem with turnover. The two year old program is terrible and the three year old program is marginal. They do not have consistent staff. Every single day there is a new person in the two year old program. The program is dictated by the director, which is likely more concerned with money than maintaining a quality level of staffing for the children (i.e. to form quality relationships and security with a teacher). They constantly split classes. They only inform you of mishaps in other people's behaviour, but not their own. For example, they will send out a letter to parents when a child has been kicked out, yet they will not relay they are planning on splitting classes up and separating kids from their friends. I have had my children there for 6 months and will be pulling them out once I find an appropriate school. The director is arrogant, and has told me I had her "permission to withdrawl my children" when I found my daughter crying behind a desk w more

NONE BETTER!!! 10/20/2010

There is not a better preschool in Jupiter, or maybe even Palm Beach County! I am a very picky mom, and everything they do is for the children, which makes us/me very happy. They offer the best preschool education, they genuinely love the children, and have such respect for them and us (parents). It is obvious that they are happy teachers who really care about the kids. They also have a great lunch program (and I do not mean junk food, but really well-balanced nutritional food) which has helped to introduce the kids to a variety of foods. The owners are always thinking about ways to improve the school, and are there all the time...that is very unusual! The other thing we like about Country Day is the diversity...children/families from all over the world are there (I think because of Scripps). My friends and I agree that exposure to a variety of cultures is what we want for our kids, and ourselves. I know some parents have had bad experiences there, but the truth is, generally i more

The Best in Palm Beach County 6/18/2010

GREAT school. All of the teachers are so loving - they greet us with a smile every morning, which tells me they are happy working there. Our son learned more there in his first month than at another local school in 4 months! He has been there for nearly one year, and still runs in every morning. The owners are always there. They and the the front office staff are so helpful and kind. If you have any doubts about where your child is currently enrolled, go to Country Day for a tour...you and your child will not want to leave! more

I never thought I (or my daughter) would ever recuperate from our horrible experience at her previous preschool, and then we found Country Day. The owner (Diana) and my daughter's new teachers lovingly helped her transition. After less than one week, she was running into her classroom, so happy and excited to see her teachers and her new friends. She has blossomed. We are so impressed with her reading skills, manners, and all-around self esteem. I agree with CountryCousin... Pros: Best Preschool Cons: No complaints at all more
