Best

I love buying stuff here! It has great prices and is bigger than Pier One. You can find unique items for your house or gifts for other people.

Cost Plus - great prices, tons of stuff 7/11/2007

Cost Plus is such a great store - I think because it's out of the way (by the Pike Market and not part of my regular routine) I don't shop there as often as I might otherwise. I always go there during the holidays to buy gifts for clients. If you need to put together a great gift basket, outfit your new kitchen inexpensively, or find interesting furniture and fixtures with lots of Asian influence, be sure to check out Cost Plus. more

Beats Pier One! 5/2/2006

I'm a Cost Plus junkie, especially the downtown store on Western. You can find really great stuff here for some really nice prices. Everything from candles, wine, art prints, dishes, silverware - not to mention the mouth watering assortment of gourmet food items they carry. I always shop here for stocking stuffers - my kids love the simple, wooden toys they carry here, and I love the prices. I keep coming back! more

Candy galore! 3/30/2006

I know most people probably like going here because of the candles, and furniture, and cheap wine, and the list goes on and on. I love going here because they have a great selection of imported/unusual foods. Where else can you find chocolate covered gummy bears in close by some wasabi peas? OOh, and the chocolate selection is to die for. Try some Munchies or Crunchies--I can never remember which one it is that I like best, but they are both darn good. Parking can be a pain, but if you can figure out how to get to it, there is a free parking lot attached. (for one hour with validation) It's kind of hard the first time around, since it's on a one way street and not clearly marked. more

Like a "super-sized" Pier One -with better prices too! 3/30/2006

I really don't like Pier One Imports. Not that there is anything wrong with the store.. Its just that I've been ruined by going into Cost Plus. This store has SO much more to offer than any Pier One that Ive been in... Okay enough about P1.. Cost Plus has great furniture, pottery, candles, food items/wine/coffee/tea, art, and other imported home decor. Above all.. It would be a great place to find a gift for someone. This particular location is a bit chaotic due to its location near the market but I still like it the best as its so spacious inside. If you like this kind of thing you should check them out. more

Cost Plus: Wine, foods, furniture, kitchen, furnishings, accessories, etc., etc. 3/13/2006

You can find some great buys on wine here. And some very interesting wines, too. And, check out the foods - from many different parts of the world. Plus, they have every other kind of thing for the home. Very fun shopping experience. Go during any holiday and they will have all kinds of items for celebrating! Prices are reasonable. Parking is, well, typical for downtown. (The Bellevue Cost Plus near BellSquare has a parking lot.) more

highly reccomended 12/17/2005

Oh! Fun fun fun! Like Pier One but without the overpriced furniture and accessories. When you walk in, it smells like rattan and wicker. Very nice furniture at very reasonable prices. Also have accessories and paper lanterns and fans and deep-red Buddha’s and food and Christmas ornaments and wine and cheese and food and neat little doo-dads that make perfect Christmas and Birthday presents. The staff is cheerful and helpful. Located on the waterfront 2 blocks north of Pike Place Market. I think you get 1 hour of free parking in the attached parking garage, but check before you go. Hard to find parking on the street (being in the immediate Market area). Good idea to take the bus if at all possible and walk down from 1st Ave. Decent prices and great selection of neat things that really make a house a home. more
