Been shooting here several time, bought several firearms there. Good service- a bit gruff at times, but they become helpful if you seem genuinely interested in what they have to say. Range is clean, well ventilated, reasonably priced. Firearms pricing not bad, either.\r I should add-- Happiness is a warm gun, bang bang shoot shoot!! :) more

Definitely one of the better ranges in the area, the ventilation is strong and the lanes are well lit. The end lanes could stand to have some sound deadening material on the adjacent walls, but the lanes are roomy and you are permitted to keep your range bag, extra gear, etc up against the back wall. Some of the other ranges I have been too make you keep your extra gear next to your feet which in my opinion poses a safety risk. more

I recently bought a Walther PPQ .40 and had it sent to Continental Arms. They were incredible through the whole process.\r I've only fired shotguns so I asked Jay at the counter for some basic guidelines before shooting. HE WAS AWESOME!! He went over the mechanics of the gun at the counter and said the range officer could assist me once I was in the range. Jay quickly realized the officer was busy and came right out to assist. He spent a good 10-15 minutes with me going over stance, grip etc. I couldn't have been happier with his patience and assistance me being a novice shooter.\r This will be my main shooting range for sure. more

This place is one of the best ranges in the Maryland area. As Rob N said when it's your first time there the staff can be a little stern but that's until they get to know who you are, they all are very friendly and knowledgeable.\r \r They also make it a very friendly environment for women as well, they actually have several women working there which is great. My wife had a bad experience at another range the day after our wedding, making her never want to shoot again. But when she went to this place for the first time she said she felt super comfortable, though she did not shoot that day she is considering it, not only because of the females that were both shooting and working there, but because she found out one of her LONG time family friends(a women) that worked with her father in another business when she was growing up, now works in this establishment which made her really comfortable.\r \r I would defiantly suggest this range to ANYONE (man/women). I immediately purchased a membership, for this will be the place for me. more

This place is great! I recently purchased a Winchester tactical shot gun and was hunting for a range near Baltimore to fire it. I have been to select fire several times, but don't like the rude employees. The staff here was friendly and helpful, lanes are clean and they dont rape you on the price of rounds. They have a great selection of firearms for rent, and a good selection of targets to suit any skill level. I will now make this my home for all of my gun related needs. Great place! more

They have a large showroom and offer transfers. The range is packed on the weekends. For the most Employees are good but there are a few with attitudes. Don't act a fool and they won't bother you. more

Continental is the area's premier destination for all of your firearm needs. They have an indoor range for handguns and allow you to rent guns to take on the range. They also sell a wide variety of weapons and accessories, and are an FFL. Their staff is courteous although usually a bit terse, perhaps because their dealing with a huge liability and need to let you know who's in charge. If you play by the rules you may earn their respect. more

Shooting at gun ranges is one of my best hobbies and so far I have visited many ranges in the East coast. I have been to the Continental Arms 3 times in the past 2 years, and I have seen nothing but an unfriendly, unprofessional and unwelcoming environment. To those who gave such a good comments and regards to such a horrible place; I must recommend you to visit at least two other ranges in Maryland such as Freestate Gun Range and On Target. I can positively confirm that any range in the East coast is way much better than continental. The staffs of continental are nothing but bunch of ignorant morons; they are rude, offensive and provocative. They have no manner and they have a poor customer service. Of course, I’ve noticed that some of the staffs were trying to act friendly or put a good face whenever they feel like, but when I compare them with almost any other range in the region I must admit that this place is horrible.\r During my three visits, I couldn’t help but noticing that the staff were looking down at the clients and they spoke with some customers in an offensive, aggressive or rude manner. I cannot believe that a terrible place such as continental would have ever received such positive remarks. Probably first time shooting was an exciting event for some customers and it might have clouded their better judgment or maybe they have not seen a professional gun range yet, where customers are treated the way that they should be. Once again, I would suggest you to visit at least a couple more ranges before leaving a positive comment for a place which I think they do not deserve to get.\r more

I had an awesome experience here last week. I came on my day off earlier in the day so the place was pretty empty. I got personal attention and service, each and every question was answered and the salesman really took his time with me. As a novice, he showed me proper ways to shoot and handle the guns I was looking at. I was very impressed and will absolutely be back. more

I have bought a ton of ammo here, and they tend to have good prices on that too, they have more/better options. more

As we all know, it can be very difficult to find a gun store with good customer service. These guys took care of me and helped fix an issue I was having with my new hand rifle that I unfortunately bought elsewhere. more
