Got in the same day. Found the doctor clear, efficient and good at what he does. I would really have to question anyone who doesn't have good things to say about him. He treated our cat with kindness; restored her vision (she had an ulcer in the eye) . The cost was reasonable.\r more

My dog had a mass growing on the back of the cornea and was not seeing well. The animal eye surgeon did an iris neoplasia surgery on her which took care of her haziness beautifully. She is seeing fine now!\r more

Our whole family is very grateful and would highly recommend Complete Animal Eyecare and Dr. Silverman as a thorough, conscientious, excellent doctor, with a great bedside manner. I asked our veterinarian for a good animal opthalmologist when we saw our dog was not seeing as well. Our veterinarian recommended Dr. Silverman as one of the best opthalmologists in the Los Angeles area. He also told us Dr. Silverman was the only opthalmologist he recommends to his clients. People return to our veterinarian highly satisfied with the care they got at Complete Animal Eyecare Center. All opthalmologists go through the same training, our vet told us to practice -- the only difference with board certification is the ability to tell breeders if their animals have suitable vision or not for sale. Not all opthalmologists are interested in doing this in their practice. All animal ophthalmologists complete a several years long residency to be able to do eye surgery, which Dr. Silverman did over 15 years ago. All animal ophthalmologists are able to do the same procedures and surgeries. Dr. Silverman did cataract surgery on our veterinarian's dog with tremendous success. Clients come back to our vet now and tell him how satisfied they were at Complete Animal Eyecare Center. Dr. Silverman did a cataract surgery on our dog which came out beautifully. We also got a reduction in the cost (which we were not expecting), and a month of free aftercare visits. Our dog has his vision back now and runs around our backyard just like he did when he was younger.\r more

This was amazing! My dog was set to go into surgery, and when I got to Complete Animal Eyecare Center on the right day, Dr. Silverman told me the eye had healed! Surgery was not going to be necessary. I am so happy to have found a doctor that is honest.\r more

My dog needed to have a cataract surgery. I liked Dr. Silverman from the minute I met him. He took a lot of time with me, explained the procedure very carefully, and has a kind calm way about him. I did the initial testing, the ERG, which was succcessful, and a good portion of the surgery came off the cost when I scheduled. It was all done on the same day -- my dog is seeing great! My dog is my best friend. I am glad I caught this and had it taken care of at this hospital.\r more

My dog was scheduled for a surgery, but the white blood count was low. Rather than pushing this surgery through, Dr. Silverman decided to wait to bring up the white blood cell count. I was impressed with this doctor's ethics and thoroughness. He did not want to put my dog in any danger. It is rare to find a doctor who isn't looking to push you into surgery. I felt I was in very good hands.\r more

My rescue dog from the shelter developed cataracts in both eyes. The eye surgeon operated on both of them successfully. I found this clinic to be very reasonable when I compared costs.\r more

We needed to be seen on an emergency basis and were very impressed when we called Dr. Silverman 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. Our dog's eye had a melting corneal ulcer and we needed to be seen by an eye specialist right away. Dr. Silverman met us at Complete Animal Eyecare within forty five minutes of our call. He explained everything to us thoroughly. His help saved the vision of our dog. To find a doctor this dedicated is extremely rare. more

My cat had a herpes virus. Her eyes kept tearing --it didn't go away after weeks. My vet sent me to Dr. Silverman at Complete Animal Eyecare. Dr. Silverman did prescribe several medications -- however they worked great! It did require diligence on my part to put them in. But the medications completely took care of the issue. \r more

When I woke up I was worried when my dog's eye was large reddish and bluish. I went to my vet who took a pressure on my dog eye and suggested I get to Complete care Center right away. When I got there the doctor found the pressure in my dog's eye was very high. This was glaucoma. My dog was in a lot of pain. I was impressed when the doctor was able to take the dog in the back and easily bring the pressure down to normal right there while I waited. Thank you so much. more

I was very happy with the care I got here. My cat got in a fight with another cat. There was blood I could see inside the eye. The doctor said he got scratched in the eye and had a rip in his cornea. The doctor operated on my cat where he sutured the cornea and flushed the blood out of the eye. After 3 weeks the blood is gone and my cat can see. more

I would highly recommend this hospital if your dog needs eye care -- especially quickly. My dog ran into a bush and got a thorn in his eye. I waited awhile not sure what it was. This was a mistake -- the eye actually ruptured. I felt unbelievably awful. I rushed him to my vet who put a catheter in his leg and called Dr. Silverman. Dr Silverman did a graft on my dog that saved his eye. If I had to travel far away or couldn't get into an eye doctor right away, I am sure my dog would have lost all vision. The eye would have had to have been removed. With gas prices this high, the fact that this hospital was close by in Sherman Oaks was a blessing too. Right off the 101 and 405. My dog being in such pain I did not want to go far away like to Camarillo or Pasadena. Dr. Silverman was kind, warm and an obvious expert in what he does. Thank you Dr. Silverman. more

My bull dog had a ruptured eye over the weekend. My vet sent him to Complete Animal Eyecare first thing Monday morning. Even though the doctor here had a very full schedule he found time to work us in and gave us the care we needed. Because of him and his fast work my dog still has sight. more
