Attentive and Proactive 7/19/2006

Having worked with few Chiropractors in the past, I was nervous about visiting Dr. Bingham. However, from the moment that we met he made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He was thorough and complete, but never pushed me beyond my comfort level. Definitely attentive and a good listener. Besides recieving great care I was made to feel welcome by everyone in the office. Even better was that his office manager was able to find out about insurance coverage during my first visit and they billed insurance for me. I also appreciate the fact that he spent a lot of time and energy educating me about proper posture and helpful exercises so that I could be proactive and help reinforce all the great work he was doing. His priority was to help me heal, not have me come in for endless treatments. I have no qualms about recommending him to anyone out there. Pros: Parking, Ambiance, Service more

Thorough, comprehensive affordable chiropractic care 7/16/2006

I have had chiropractic care for many years. Recently I started seeing Dr. Bingham due to a problem in my low back that was causing continual leg problems. Prior to seeing him, continual adjustments just weren't helping me. His initial workup was thorough and comprehensive. He spent a lot ot time going over the results of his exam with me and reviewing what I'd experienced in the past. He recommended a plan of care for me that has given me more relief than I have had in the past two years. He tried different approaches until we discovered what worked for me. I would highly recommend him, especially to anyone who has not previously been helped by a chiropractgor. more

client satisfaction iffy 7/7/2006

Recently, I spent the morning seeking a chiropractor for back pain. After some investigation and numerous calls, I opted for Highland Clinic; the reviews seemed great and I needed some relief from the pain. I made my appointment, showed up, had tests done and then was told to make an appointment for Monday. Well, the primary reason I went in was to get some relief, but was expected to wait over the weekend-this was exactly what I did not want. I went in with the understanding that there indeed would be testing, but I also was under the impression that I would be getting an adjustment as well. As the doctor explained to me he needed to read his test results before he could determine his plan, I explained why I was there and what I understood to happen from my visit. \r I had discussed with the receptionist prices, how much to expect with testing and adjustment, and anything else I made to know before I decided to make my appointment. If I had been told how things actually were to transpire, I would have spent my money elsewhere and got what I expected. So, here I am, still in discomfort and $100 poorer with nothing effectively done. I feel there was an incredible level of miscommunication and nothing was really done to rectify this. Dr Bryan seems rather young, so perhaps with some time he will discover that happy clients are something to strive for, rather than having a disgruntled client post a review such as this one. Good luck. more

Truly Individualized, Listens Well 6/17/2006

I've been to Bryan for two separate complaints in the last 9 months. \r \r I'm a graphic designer and I use a computer 8+ hours per day. I'd been having chronic shoulder pains, and they were just getting worse and worse. Within three visits, Bryan, because he listens so well, realized that I was hunching my right shoulder while I worked. I stopped hunching, the pain improved immediately. \r \r Then, I was sick for an extended period and sleeping on a bad mattress. My sacro-iliac joint went out, and he had me back in action in just a few days. He also gave me exercises to do at home to prevent it from happening again.\r \r \r \r Pros: Is able to explain my ailment in a way I understan more

I am a fan. 5/17/2006

My experience with Brian was my first with Chiropractic care. I had heard mixed reviews on Chiropractic care and was a little skeptical but lower back pain made me try. It was a great experience overall. Brian quickly diagnosed my problem and like another reviewer on the site, I ended up needing less visits than previously thought. I attribute this to Brian being a great overall health and wellness educator. He taught me what to do on my own time to expedite my treatment, new ways to do old stretches, core strengthening, etc. He really empowers the patient and does not just rely on the time that you spend with him, but shows you how to get better and stay better. more

A Wonderful Chiropractor 5/9/2006

Dr. Bryan is very friendly caring person and a nice human being. He is truly committed to his patients' well being and listens when concerns are shared and offers guidance and explanations. He knows that healing takes place on all levels - physical, emotional & mental. more

#1 Chiropractor! 5/7/2006

For years I have suffered with periodic lower back pain, chronic dizziness and pain in my jaw. I have seen chiropractors and have had some relief but Dr. Bingham has provided the most in depth treatment plans, including articles on my ailments and stretching exercises, and at last I have relief. Dr. Bingham goes the extra mile....he has researched possibilities and provided me with documentation that has allowed me to be better informed about the causes of my complaints. He is attentive, professional and truly cares about his patients. This is evident when you look at his philosophy....I don't want a patient for life...I want to make their life better. I highly reccommend Dr. Bingham if you are suffering any discomfort. He will, as he has done with me, put you on the road to better health and a more active life. Pros: Professional, Listens, Responsive more

A great doc with patience and expertise! 5/5/2006

Dr. Bryan has been my DC since the summer of 2003. What I've found in him is a remarkably good doctor who is very knowledgeable about his field. His capabilities are broad, and the treatment he offers reflects his belief that each person and each condition require unique consideration. I came to see Bryan with lower back spasms that had plagued me since an injury in high school. He treated me, and got me started on a rehab/maintenance plan that's still working really well. I always thought I was going to have to see a DC all my life, but he doesn't think like that. That's what Brian is all about... expert treatment when you need it and giving you the tools to keep you feeling great all by yourself! Pros: Knowledgeable, Gifted, Friendly more

Highly Recommended ! 5/4/2006

I had never been to a chiropractor before & was maybe a little scared of them. Highland Chiropractic was a great first experience. Dr Bryan is a very honest doctor that truly wants to help. He explained every adjustment & put me at ease. I went to see Bryan because I could not walk without pain due to over exercise. He diagnosed my problem immediately (plantars fasciitus) and gave me stretches, fit me in custom orthotics & I am back to normal. I never run without them. I highly recommend Highland Chiropractic. Pros: parking, office hours after 5p, great location more

A Positive Experience 3/29/2006

I have seen a lot of chiropractors over the years for my back problems, and Brian is by far my favorite. He is friendly and welcoming, with a rare ability to explain my conditions and his treatments in plain language. I never feel like he is the ""doctor"" talking down to his ""patient"". Brian is not the kind of chiropractor who wants you to keep coming back; instead, he truly wants you to get better. He is concerned about your overall health and will recommend stretches, cold remedies, stress relief strategies, even good articles to read. He cares for you, and about you, as a whole person. I find that refreshing. Most of all, Brian is enjoyable to be around. It's nice to find a doctor who is also a good guy. It makes the journey back to health a much more pleasant experience. Pros: Personable, Knowledgable, Convenient more

The old joke goes: ""How many chiropractors to screw in a lightbulb? One, but it takes 10 visits."" NOT BRIAN! Brian has consistently ""fixed"" my pain in one, maybe two visits. Whether it was severe foot pain, neck or shoulder pain, he correctly diagnosed each the first time, recommended a simple, brief course of action, and it has worked each time. He is no nonsense, gets right to the problem and doesn't over analyze, which is rare and refreshing in chiropractors. He just fixes it, and keeps things very simple. He is also a wealth of resources for stretches and wellness products. I believe Brian was born to be a chiropractor and relieve people's pain. He's been a godsend to me. Thank you, Brian! more
