I was considering using the clinic in Tacoma on 26th as my primary provider until I went through the paperwork that is sent home with you to read before the first visit. I was shocked and humiliated that chronic pain management does not include any kind of narcotic due to the misuse and sometimes criminal acts of some of the patients.They claim that this causes addiction, re-selling for profit on the behalf of the patient and other problems.They even went as far as to produce percentages supporting their beliefs.However I did not see any of the percentages or info on the opposite side therefore making believers out of us. I would like to see how they came up with that decision. It must be overwhelming! I worked 90% of my adult life which helped provide these services.Now I am looking for quality care and comfort in my time of need. I paid for it.It is not an entitlement. I certainty dont need a clinic dictating to me that because of a few uncertain cases they are eliminating narcotic drugs. Are these due to patient negligence's or employees? I am a cancer patient and have been taking oxycodone to treat my condition.What now? A massage and a band-aid?
