I don't know why anyone would pay to rent movies with a great library system like Columbus Public. Now if only all those who use the system could afford to support it.... Pros: cheap parking, huge AV section Cons: waiting lists more

The Best Library in The USA 10/10/2002

The Grant Library surpasses any that I've seen in the entire nation ( I haven't been lucky enough to visit the one in New York) . I've been to Los Angeles and was extremely disappointed. I thought that if I were to conduct research, that would had been the place( but it wasn't), oh well. Pros: On the busline, excellant selections, nice employees Cons: none, noisy kids, none more

Treasures Lie Within 8/5/2002

I love the Columbus Metropolitian Library. The building is beautifully designed, and the location at the edge of Old Deaf School Park is lovely. The interior contains a great collection of books, videos, and dvds, as well as excellent internet access. Parking rates are extremely inexpensive for downtown Columbus. more

Best thing the library offers is the summer reading program kick-off. It gives the kids something to look forward to over the summer and helps them keep up with school. The incentives are great. The band and food are even greater. Pros: free, educational, motivational Cons: missing books more

There are branches everywhere and everything can be reserved online for pick-up close to you. The staff is great, too! more
