Well, this is NOT the Colonial Florist from 10 years ago. My husband and I ordered an arrangment for a funeral and I was mortified when I layed eyes on what cost us $90. There was little to no arranging about the piece and it was mostly green filler. I counted 4 blooms on the whole arrangment.\r

At the same funeral (and from the Colonial) there were cards with mispelled names and more sloppy arrangments. \r
\r
I was really disappointed with the whole experience. \r

A family friend had ordered wedding flowers from this same place and the pieces were NOT what was ordered, were poorly made and a few of them even fell apart prior to and right after the ceremony. When a complaint was brought to the attention of the shop, they were told to find another florist. No apology or partial refund was offered. Wow, that's great customer service and talk about biting the hand that feeds you.\r
\r
The quality of flower arrangements has gone down drastically, in comparison to the prices (which are sky high). There have been customers who report going into the shop, hearing staff in the back and end up waiting 10 minutes or more until one of them comes up to help them. \r
\r
Poorly run and definitely being mismanaged. I would bet the former owners and employees are horrified at what's being done to what was once a treasure to Mount Union. \r

After 20+ years of doing business with the Colonial, we've decided to take the owners advice and take our business elsewhere.
