Colbys Tire

This place is THE WORST!!! They sold us 4 ""new"" tires 3 weeks ago. When we got the car back from them, it had a shimmy at about 65 mph so we took it to another shop. The guy there showed us the code on our ""new"" tires that showed they were made in 1996 and were cracked all in the inside from age. When we went back to Colby's tires, they claimed they had sold the tires to us as used and we were just out of luck....the best they would do is sell us another ""new"""" set for half price! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!! more

I never write reviews but I just hate terrible customer service. I called Colbys last night looking for tires. They said they had them and that they would put them on hold til the morning since they were about to close. The next morning I called Colbys to verify they still had the tires I needed because I was driving a far distance. They were certain that they had them. I drove 45 minutes for NOTHING! They did not have the tires. They never did. They are a bunch of morons and after looking at the other reviews I would advise everyone to stay clear of this establishment. Trust other's experiences so you don't land in the same boat. Pros: null Cons: null more

Do not ever buy a car from this guy. He sold us a lemon that broke the second day after purchase. We spoke to people after who stated the same thing. more

Business contact, Monday November 15, 2010 at 10:15 AM. I never actually made it to their shop. I called to verify if they had the tires I would need, new or used. The person who answered the phone said, "Hi", in a tone that suggested he was not pleased I had called. I asked if this was Colby's Tires and he indicated that it was with a harsh yes. I explained what I needed and he said, "Let me get you to a tire tech", using a tone that suggested he really didn't want to take to me. I hung up the phone. They either do so well they can chase customers away or they have no idea how to run a business. Sadly, Wal-Mart treats me better than these guys and that isn?t a great benchmark. more

If you are looking for a used tire, I highly recommend Colby's Tire. I took my car there to get a tire. They had one that worked great. It ended up going flat on me the next day. I took it back and they gave me a second used tire at no extra charge. These guys were friendly and they stood behind the used tire they sold me and guaranteed it. I would definitely recommend going to these guys for a used tire! Pros: Fast service. Honest. Dependable more

I went to this place to buy a used tire. I was greated by a man outside that offered to help me. A man named DEX yelled at him and told him to get inside to answer phones. Dex got a phone call from his boss..colby and they were talking on the phone for a very long time with no hurry in their conversation at all. Dex was evan talking to his boss how he hasn't have time to call his parole officer. After waiting over 10 minutes I asked if there was anyone that could help me. Dex got up and yelled at me" you need to wait your turn lady I am on the phone" I wrote down his name and told him I would speak to his manager about him. He told me to get out of the store and he would not help me. I will never in my life go back to this store and will tell everyone I know how rude they are.
