If you are considering Clyde's as an establishment to dine at do yourself a favor.
AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
We recently had the misfortune of experiencing the worst restaurant in Ohio when we chose to eat there in February 2011. For starters, the hostess was arrogant, unfriendly, and condescending. She made a remark about the shoes, and coat I was wearing. I had brown shoes with white socks.(not too stylish but there was no need to point it out.) My coat was a light jacket, a bit too light for February but again, NO NEED TO LAUGH AT MY CLOTHS. (they were clean , and in good condition)
We were seated and then avoided by several servers for almost 20 min. When our server stopped by our table, before she asked us anything she barked out ""WE ARE ALL OUT OF THE SPECIALS FOR TONIGHT, SO IF YOU WANTED ANY OF THEM THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE. I WILL BE BACK TO GET YOUR DRINK ORDER IN A FEW MIN.""
We got our drinks but then the nightmare began. Three different times they brought the wrong orders to our table. When they got it right,,ALMOST 90 min from the time we were seated our food was cold , and not even cook completely. When we pointed this out, the server told us that ""SHE DIDN'T COOK THE FOOD, SHE ONLY SERVES IT TO THE TABLE."" I thought she was trying to be funny, but SHE WAS SERIOUS!!
My daughter was upset and requested to see the owner, or manager. An older man came to our table and ""TOOK US TO TASK"". He pointed out that we were not his only patrons and that if we didn't like the services we didn't have to stay. He said that mistakes happen and in the big picture of life a few slip ups on a food order is not too important. I pointed out that we had been seated for what was near two hours, and that our dining experience with Clyde's was not real positive. He said in a comic kind of way ""SO YOUR EVENING HASN'T BEEN THAT GOOD. LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS,,,,YOU STILL HAVE YOUR HEALTH."" He laughed and walked away.
AVOID THIS PLACE. TELL YOUR FRIENDS.
