Clear

It has very bad service here in Jacksonville and they lock you into a two year contract. You have 10 days to try it and if you are 1 minute past that you are stuck. Customer service is terrible. I am shocked he would recommend this service. I would stay away from them if I were looking for a new iSP more

So far it's fantastic. It works really well in my condo, and I'm now using it at work for the first time, and it's coming through great. I just got the mobile, and that'll do me just fine for $45 a month, no taxes, no increases ever! more

The technical support of Clear is good. They answered quickly with literally no on-hold time. Their native tongue was American English, and they spoke it very clearly and understandably. Not like robots. Anyway, the problem has been resolved and clear internet service really is the best so far. more

I pay full price each month, but I have never measured speeds matching the minimum advertised rate. I must pause videos to wait for them to buffer. Keep your cable or DSL line. Clearwire is not honest or capable enough to be trusted with such a valuable service. more

Hi, I'm testing the Clear service and it's much faster than my current ATT DSL in Chicago. ATT DSL in Chicago for me is problematic and I could write a book about it. Now the other thing is that Clear charges $40-52 for their 3G network service vs. $35 that the OP stated. So I don't know if charges are related to location of how that works. more

I am sending this out as a warning. We got Clear internet about 1 1/2 months ago and were lied to by the sales rep, had horrible internet speed, constant interruptions in service, and when we tried to cancel, they wouldn't let us! Then we found out that the sales rep had signed us up for a TWO YEAR CONTRACT but told us there was none! When we called again to cancel, we were informed of the 2 year contract and told there would be a $180 termination fee unless we transfered our account to a friend or family member! Bait and switch! As if we would subject anyone to this treatment! After over an HOUR on the phone arguing with us despite being transfered to a supervisor, the only way they were going to let us cancel was to classify our account as fraud, but we would still have to pay shipping charges to send the equipment back, and they would continue to charge us until they received the equipment. more

I have been using Clear at home and for my office for several months. It rocks. And is half the price of other options. more
