Love getting my hair cut at Clark Nova, Brigitte is the best, she's very friendly and likes to satisfy her customers, even when i was in need of a hair cut at the last minute she would take me in, she also does a very good job at doing hair extensions, Very friendly welcoming place. more

i started going to Martina at clark nova 3 years ago and i won't go anywhere else. she's incredibly ""charismatic"" (i would use another word but citysearch won't let me)--all of my guy friends who go to her think so, and she's not traditionally ""LA"". there's just something about her... Pros: everything! Cons: parking is hit-or-miss. it's not terrible, but it's LA, people. don't expect to find a spot waiting for you in the front. more

Found best hair salon and best hair dresser 12/12/2007

If anyone needs a GREAT haircut to a GREAT price, (why paying $300 for an ok haircut?) then CLARK NOVA is THE place. The owner Martina Harrer is a sweetheart and the moment you step into the door you feel the good vibes. I think Martina is one of the best hair dresser I have ever met. she knows exactly what kind of hair styles I like and discusses what would look best on me. I'm so happy I found her, a person who is professional, relaxed and friendly. And she has created a great team to work with her in this Environment. Hands Down!!!!! The best place for a haircut guy or girl 4/18/2007

You guys / gals really need to check this place out. Its quaint, relaxing, and proffessional all rolled into one. I usually don't like going to new places for haircuts. But a friend of mines recommended me this place and I gotta say I really really like how the end result turned out. Everyone is very friendly and willing to give you tips and suggestions on ways to improve your hair or make it however you want. They are honest too so if they think that a style you may want won't really look so good they'll let you kno and suggest something else. So go!! more

A pleasure! I moved here from Manhattan 14 months ago and have been looking for the right salon, to no avail, since - until I was referred to Clark Nova Salon. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcomed and appreciated. My haircut with Mick was $100. (I'd been paying $175 in NY) and was the best haircut I've ever had. My highlights ($140. - previously $250. in NY) were beautiful. He listened, spent time on my hair and, contrary to any hair salon experience I've had, I really enjoyed our time together. Everyone in the casual salon was genuinely friendly. I've referred 4 friends to the salon so far who went to 3 different stylists (I think there are only 5 or 6 who work there) and every one of them was pleased. Pros: It was a wonderful experience more

best quality haircuts, in a relaxed, welcoming athmosphare 8/29/2006

I was very pleased at the the extremely good haircut. It feels like family in this unique hair salon with is very tasteful styled after a good old barbershop.
