They called many times and pretend to be police, sheriff, district attorney, state law enforcement, investigating fraud, etc. Very shameless what they are doing. According to the FTC and Fair Debt Collection laws, this sort of thing is illegal, so I will be filling a complaint. The owner of the company has called several times calling himself Detective Charles Brennan. I see that he was just arrested in January 2011 for picking up hookers in Utah. Funny that a guy from Vegas has to drive to Utah to get hookers. more

I run my credit report yearly and check my credit score due to so many junk debt collectors are trying to make a quick buck in every way. It just so happens that I see this company on my credit report showing a debt for over $2500. My thoughts were WTF, how could this be and where did this debt come from, well I called the following day during business hours to get info about this debt. They told me that it was from an apartment complex that I broke a lease in (mind you I never lived in that complex) and that the management company was trying to collect a debt. So I asked them to send me something so that I can dispute this charge and they told me that they dont do anything like that I need to take it up with Experian. Well I did and they just tell them that the is mine. Shortly after I started receiving harrassing phone calls from them and from my understanding it is unlawful for a debt collector to harrass you at home or at work (many people do not know that they are not to call you at work or make no more then 17 calls per month you can sue them for this). So, last time they called I told them that our conversation was being recorded and also I have a right to see any and everything that's in the file that they have on me and if not I can sue them for fraud and harrassment. I haven't heard from them since and the debt has been removed from all 3 credit reports.. TG more

First, I was verbally abused by the manager at Destinations apartments, then Clark County Coilections took on my account, since I don't pay to treat managers to treat me like crap. They agreed that if I signed their ""Contract,"" they would not contact my employer--so I signed. more

I was lucky these guys got ahold of me. I visited a Hospital and had some tests done. I found out oftentimes Dr.'s have separate bills from hospitals. I called the hospital and found out my insurance only covered the hospital bill and yes the Dr. had a separate bill i thought it was all taken care of. These guys got ahold of me and informed me if it would have been another week this would have gone on my credit report. So I was able to pay it off before i was affected, the address they had on file gotten from the hospital was my old address, so I didn't get the letter. JUST IN TIME! Pros: phone payment, no Credit Bureau harm if paid within 30days Cons: I hate bills, even if I know i'm responsible lol! more

This company was great. I had a debt that I owed and they worked with me to setup a payment plan that fit my budget. Too many people try to run away from their debt. That is wrong! I truly wanted to pay my debt - they were a great TEAM of individuals to work with. I truly appreciate their professional attitude and work ethic. Pros: Truly care about people! Cons: At times pushy. more

I can not stand this company. The call and call you 24 hours expecting you to make a payment right away. They don't provide the documents you request unless you go in person to see someone but right than they make you sign paperwork... I know what I owe but you can not expect someone to pull whatever amount they owe out of their pockets... What if the person lost their job: do u expect to pay what they owe or try to make what the last paycheck to survive until you get another job... more

These people are liars! They ask questions that do not pertain to the debt they are trying to collect. When asked to bill an insurance company they refuse, when asked to send a detailed description of the debt, they say they dont have to do so I know what the debt is and I need to ""quit ducking my responsibility"" They originally said the debt was one thing then did a change up and said it was another. They are threatening and itimidating people and should be arrested for the way the verbally attack people. I am disgusted and appalled that these people feel they are above the law. A person call from their office and says his name is one thing and then when I called back was told no one by that name works there. I will definately be contacting anyone that I can to get these people off my phone!!!!! Pros: NONE! Cons: EVERYTHING! more

This company contacted me today and wanted my credit card information right away for a worker's compensation claim - I am not responsible for it! I never received ONE bill from the company that sent it to collections and I don't just give out my bank info to some company over the phone just because they called me. Not to mention a person does not pay for a worker's compensation claim that was approved and closed. Pros: If the debt is valid I guess a company might get their money Cons: Nasty attitude, lack of listening skills, horrible in every way. more

I called Clark County Collections regarding a medical debt that had been paid in full over a year ago after finding out that my insurance company did not pay it. I asked this agency to please remove the paid debt from my credit report and they refused to do so. They tried to tell me it was the law, which is why they can not remove it. This is a lie considering other credit collection agencies will remove paid debt from your credit report if you call and ask. This company is hurting my credit for a $98 debt that has been paid. I feel that this is extremely wrong that they feel like they have the power continue to hurt peoples credit once it is paid. I think that this collections agency should not be in business and someone should do something to ensure this doesn't happen to other people. more

Very rude people that work there. They treat you like trash and assume that you are trying to skip payment.. When you try to talk to them, they get very rude and hang up on you. THEY ARE JERKS and UNPROFESSIONAL. They need to get some people skills and a personality. Also they need to confirm that they have the correct information before they call you like your correct address. Cons: To many to list more
