I love this place and my dog loves going there. They knew my dog by name from day one, and half the time when I arrive to pick her up, they see me drive up and have her waiting for me in the lobby. I can watch her play to my heart's content on their webcam, but I can also see that the staff is constantly cleaning and caring for the dogs. I can't say enough good about City Pet Club. My dog has never gotten sick from being there. It's a requirement that all dogs have their shots current and they are serious about enforcing that. The place is kept meticulously clean and you can watch them mop and buff the floors frequently on the web cam. The first couple time my dog attended she came home very thirsty...anyone who knows dogs knows that in a new exciting environment most dogs will play hard and forget to drink...there's plenty of fresh water available all day long. There is constant attention to make sure smaller dogs are not being bullied by larger dogs, and they'll move them around if someone starts to get uncomfortable. CPC requires an interview and trial stay for new dogs, so I'm confident that they will not place any dangerous or unsocial dogs in with mine. If your dog's first experience with ANY place is to be dropped off for boarding for four days, of course they're going to come home traumatized. My dog comes home from CPC happy and tired and can't wait to go back. She loves everyone on the staff and they love her and I know if I do have to board her there that she'll be among friends and not cooped up in a cage 23 hours a day. CPC rules! more

We've been taking our dog to City Pet Club for almost a year now based on a friend's recommendation. Their attention to detail and personalized pet notes (shared by all staff, hallelujah!) are a dream come true. From instructions on type of food (and how much), to medicines and even silly ""parental concerns,"" they have been genuinely caring and attentive at every turn. Love the nice large indoor and outdoor area the dogs are free to roam (though always supervised), and we really appreciate the fact that they rest the dogs for a bit mid-day so as to minimize fatigue (and potential scuffs!). These guys are professionals, and they LOVE all the dogs. Perfect combination. We will be patrons for a long, long time! more

I have been dealing with City Pet Club for over a year now and have no regrets of moving from Dog Mode to this larger facility. My dogs are excited from the moment we get into the car and know exactly where we are when we turn the corner of 700 S and 500 W. The girls (and boy) at the front desk have all been very informative and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing boarding or daycare for their animal! more

I have taken my dog to the City Pet Club several times and he continues to get sick. Once with just a cold and once with an infection on his front paws. It has cost me alot of money in vet bills to treat both illnesses. The facility looks clean but there maybe more bacteria growing than the eye can see. more

I take my boxer/mastiff in at least once a week for daycare and have boarded him numerous times from just one night to several. He gets so excited to go there that when I drive in from Davis County, if he could, he would jump out the car window and run to the place because he obvivously thinks I don't drive fast enough. He gets super excited when we get to North SL and seems to be telling me to run the red lights to get him there. The staff is fantastic and a wonder to work with. They know all the dogs by name and play with them all day. They keep the dogs' safety foremost in every second of the day. They even put lotion on my dog's paws each night when he was there because they had gotten quite dry from his ""pre-adoption"" days. Pros: price is great, clean, spacious, tons of safety factors, loving / caring staff Cons: hard on a parent to leave their dog more

I had taken my golden retriever for a 4 day stay. He came out of place very stressed and nervous. It took him about a week to recover from this place. I've talked to one of the staff member and he had no clue to what happened with my dog. Try to talk to the owner of place but he was out of town. I will never take any of my pets to this place again. more

I have taken my dog to their daycare consistently for over a year, and have experienced nothing but the best service. All of the caretakers know the name of my dog, and show extreme affection to him. I have also boarded my dog here, and that experience was excellent as well. Pros: friendly service, clean, convenient location, huge indoor and outdoor play areas Cons: kind of pricey (but totally worth it) more
