I visited City Nails after researching the place at Portland.Citysearch and felt pretty confident about having a manicure after work before going to dinner on a Friday evening. I thought the experience was great during the service, my french manicure was done by a super nice lady. I was a little confused why they charged me $2 more than the price posted for a French Manicure, but decided to overlook it since the employees were so nice. However, by the next morning, a mere 12 hours later, the manicure was chipped in several places. By the end of the day on Saturday, the manicure looked like a train wreck. I can't believe I paid $20 (including tip) for a manicure that didn't last more than 24 hours. I don't do anything out of the ordinary with my hands that would account for such damage to the manicure, so I'm forced to say that the quality of my service was completely horrible. I will never return for another service if they can't produce a quality product.
Pros: Evening appointments
Cons: Extremely poor quality of work
