Dr. Chris cares for the animals in his care better than most doctors take care of people. He not only provide excellent treatment and preventive care but he does a lot to educate pet guardians. I highly recommend Dr. Chris and his staff. Over the past 5 years they have taken great care of my pets and become friends. more

Cr. Chris and his staff have to be the most caring veternary hospital I have ever been to. I have had pets all my life and this is the first vet that my pets have been to where they actually were excited to walk up the steps. I have never felt rushed in the office. Dr. Chris and staff spend all the time needed, and more, with you explaining everything and answering questions. When I call with a question or concern, they know my pet as soon as they hear my voice on the phone. Dr. Chris and his staff are angels in my book. I will never go to another vet, as he is the best.\r \r Dr. Chris and staff exhibit such compassion for God's creatures. When my golden retriever got extremely sick last year and I had to send her to Heaven, Dr. Chris and staff were as upset as I was but helped me through one of the most difficult times. Now I have a new puppy, Charley who is a Collie, and he loves Dr. Chris as much as my golden retriever did.\r \r I highly recommend Churchman Animal hospital to an more

I have taken two of my pets to this vet since 2008 and love it. My pets have always received the best care and we have gotten great customer service. The staff is super friendly and remember details about my pets. I like it so much and trust them so much that even when I moved the north side of Indy I still bring my pet here. more

Our family has entrusted Dr. Chris Dristas and his staff with the care and well-being of our family pets for over 15 years. I can personally say that hands down there isn?t a finer more caring Veterinarian in the city. Our family has relocated the Northwest side of Indiana and we wouldn?t consider taking our pets anywhere other than Churchman Animal Hospital. Medical care is certainly not a cheap endeavor and we are by no means wealthy. However, when it comes to the type of care and attention we receive from Dr. Chris, we truly feel we are getting our monies worth. To give you a quick example, I?ve known Dr. Chris to sleep overnight at the hospital just to ensure that animals didn?t have complications after a surgery ? how many Vets do you know that would do that? He truly cares. Thanks Dr. Chris for everything! more

Nothing But the Best! 8/18/2012

For over a decade, I have been a devoted client of Dr. Chris and his team at Churchman Animal Hospital. With a dog that frequently find herself with the oddest sicknesses and a house cat that has been in perfect health?.we have needed them for just about every service. We lean on Dr. Chris for advice on many things knowing he truly cares for our animals, looks at all options for treatment, and consistently offers preventative suggestions. Dr. Chris and the team always goes above and beyond the call of duty?.for all the reasons above and more, I would never consider another vet and forever grateful for the care we receive. more

You are the best!!! 8/16/2012

The staff are so friendly and always have time to listen. Dr. Chris (and staff) does a great job explaining things to me. My cat has severe anxiety issues when going to the hospital and everyone is very patient with her. Dr. Chris has done a wonderful job stabilizing her complex medical issues. They are the best!!!! more

Rose-Marie was never wrong! 8/15/2012

Where do I begin? My husband and I have been loyal clients at Churchman Animal Hospital for over 16 years. We lived in Beech Grove at the time, so it was convenient. We have since moved but we make the drive for the excellent care and compassion shown by the entire staff.\r \r We just lost our almost 17 year old dachshund in May. Dr. Chris and his team couldn't have been kinder to us knowing that WE were struggling more than our sweet girl, Rose-Marie. \r \r Dr. Chris saved Rose-Marie's life twice in her 17 years. He diagnosed her with a rare acute neurological ailment quickly and got us our referral to Purdue instantly where she made a full recovery. Approximately 6 years ago, Rose-Marie suffered a back injury, as most dachshunds do in their lifetime. Dr. Chris diagnosed the problem quickly again and got us our referral to a neurosurgeon. Churchman Animal Hospital 8/15/2012

When my Great Dane Blue found me back in 1998 as a stray, I decided I needed to find a good veterinarian that could provide me with quality care. I looked at vets around the area and decided to check out Churchman Animal Hospital owned by Dr. Chris Dristas. It is 2012 now and Dr. Chris is still the vet I choose for my pets. He is a GREAT veterinarian. He is knowledgeable and compassionate and stays current on the newest procedures. He can be frank but professional when discussing what is best for your pet and always, always puts the pet first. The girls on staff at Churchman Animal Hospital are the best! They are friendly and very competent and make you and your pets feel at ease. Churchman Animal Hospital will always be my number one choice. more

Best Vet in Town 8/14/2012

Dr. Chris and his Staff are a wonderful group of people.We have been taking our dogs there for 15yrs. Would not take them to any other vet. In fact we had takin our oldest dog to a vet hospital and they wanted to put him down said he wasn't going to make it. My husband said know give me my dog back I am taking him home. Went home and called Dr. Chris and he has lived for 15 yrs and is still a strong dog. Would recommend him to everyone. more

First Class all the Way 8/11/2012

Dr. Chris and his staff are truely wonderful. I have been going to Churchman for almost 10 years, and will not consider going anywhere else. Dr. Chris and the girls show each animal client love and respect. They give enough time to each person and their beloved animal, answering all questions and easing anxieties and worries. The health of my two doggie babies is extremely important to me, and I would do anything for them. I know Dr. Chris has that same mindset for each of his clients. I do not live in the Beech Grove area, and there are closer vets to me. But, without question, I drive to Churchman Animal Hospital for my babies. It is totally worth it!!! more

Our pets are our "babies" & we want the best for them. We place their health wellness & care totally in the hands of Dr. Chris at Churchman Animal Hospital & have for 20 plus years.\r Dr. Chris's knowledge & experience reassures us that our four legged family members are in the best care possible.\r When you enter the clinic the girls & Dr. Chris are professional yet friendly making you feel welcomed. The personal attention given to each pet is what convienced us years ago that Dr. Chris is who we wanted to over see their health care needs. It doesn't manner if your pet is a cute baby or a very old aging pet. They are all treated with love, compassion & respect.\r One of our girls had to have a tumor removed a couple of weeks ago & Dr. Chris himself called to explain all results & findings. Best Vet 8/8/2012

The best ever, most caring vet i have ever known. The entire staff\r is just wonderful. They care for my dog like he was one of their\r own. I had two dogs that had to have major surgery at Churchman\r Animal Hospital. Not only did they receive excellent care, the\r price was very fair. I would recommend Dr. Chris and the girls\r in the office to anyone who wants excellent care for their animals.\r \r Cindy M. more

Best vet and staff ever 8/8/2012

I have been entrusting the care of my "best friends" to Dr. Chris and his wonderful staff for over 15 years and I am so thankful for their caring and compassion. I wouldn't think of going anyplace else for my pet care needs. Dr. Chris always takes the time to explain everything and answer my questions. He is a wonderful person and Vet and has a great sense of humor! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. more

I have been taking my four-legged family members to Churchman Animal Hospital for 15 years and I would not go anywhere else. I always have to tell the story of when my dog had died and I got a new puppy. Dr. Chris held her up and told her she wasn?t his replacement she was his little sister. That?s exactly what I needed at that moment. Dr. Chris and his staff are not only caring and compassionate but also professional and respectful. They understand the difficult decisions pet-owners have to make whether it be choosing healthcare or having to give that ?final treatment.? They understand the financial issues we may be facing and are open to using both traditional and alternative medications and treatments. They are always able to fit a pet in an emergency and provide referrals if a test or treatment cannot be offered there. I would not hesitate to offer my recommendations to Dr. Chris and all the staff at Churchman Animal Hospital. more

Churchman Animal Hospital is the BEST 8/7/2012

Dr. Chris and his staff have been our loyal vet for the past 25+ years. They always take the time to answer any questions we have and explain in detail any condition our cats or dog may have. With 4 cats and 1 dog we spend a lot of time there and I wouldn't want anyone else to treat our beloved pets. more

Dr. Chris is absolutely THE best vet our family has ever had the pleasure to know. We've taken our fur babies to him for more than 25 years. He and his staff are extremely professional, caring and go beyond the call of duty. He spent the night with my daughter's dog at the hospital to tend to him during his last hours.
