Best Deli in Charlotte 10/30/2008

I haven't found any deli in Charlotte as good as this one. I was surprised at how fresh the sandwich tasted. Lots of meat and great flavor. The slaw was homemade. The texture and flavor was outstanding. I also thought that the chicken and rice soup was the best I ever had. more

The ABSOLUTE BEST DELI!! Not as easy to get to due to Independence Blvd mess - but well worth the travel. You can't go wrong no matter what you order! Everything is great! Homemade potato salad, macaroni salad, tuna salad and chicken salad are beyond words. You will never find these duplicated by anyone else. Greek salad is wonderful; even their hot dogs are great. NOTHING is bad here!!! Service is great and quick! You get plenty and will not go away hungry. Eat there - you won't be sorry. more

Best Deli 10/14/2006

This is it. The best Deli in Charlotte. Homemade food, low prices, and a little known secret so you are in and out fast. Chris spends all morning preparing his own food. The potato salad is BETTER than my mother used to make (sorry mom). I really enjoy the subs on an onion roll. They are so big, I can't eat any more than that. The hot pastrami with oil and lettuce and I don't know what is my favorite. The chef's salad is also really good especially because of the homemade dressings. more

Wonderful Food 1/7/2003

Great food and service! If you leave hungry it's your fault, owner on premises 95% of the time and takes time to visit with the customer to ensure quality of both service and food. more
