Fun classes 6/3/2011

When I came to US I never knew I would take kung fu. I had only seen it in the movies! Shaolin classes in Boulder and Denver have been so fun. I have met so many nice people there. And so much interesting things to learn. Animal, internal styles, weapons, self defense, chi training. The instructors are very nice and helpful. This is the best thing I have found in America. more

This is why I stayed in Colorado 5/30/2011

After living in Colorado for a year I finally got settled. Then the time came when I new that I wanted to begin my martial arts training again ( I had been doing many other martial arts for years). After much research and many trial sessions I found the Chinese Shao-lin Center. It did not take more than 10 minutes with Master David to know that this was the place for me. more

Great school, great material, great price 5/27/2011

This is a great school where people from all back grounds are welcome. Classes are fun and challenging, and the wealth of material that Master David and Master Sharon offer are second to none. I?ve seen several martial arts schools where the training pretty much stops by the time you reach black belt. At this school, this is just the beginning, and this is shown by the level of senior students at the school. Many have been actively training there for over 20 years and they are still constantly seeing new and exciting material. This school and its instructors are the real deal, so if you looking for traditional Chinese martial arts, look no further. more

Could be dangerous 5/21/2011

This school has a whole lot of colorful and diverse material. If the instructor could keep his hands off the students it might be a good place to train. I'd steer clear of this school if you are a female unless you like being groped or want to have an affair with a older married man, if so this is the place for you. A fun, challenging way to get in shape 4/25/2011

This kung fu school is so unique. Teaching traditional Kung Fu, Tai Chi classes and more. There are students of all ages, which says alot about the curriculum - because it holds your attention and challenges you to do better. There are no macho egos. The instructors are dedicated and their enthusiasm is contagious. Having studied Tae Kwon Do, I was looking for a school that encompassed more than basic striking and kicks, and I certainly found it at CSC. Elder Master Sharon and David have taught this traditional art for over 30 years, many of the upper belts have been there over 20 years and are still learning new material! They offer very reasonable rates, trips to China, plus learning the history and background of this amazing art. Whether you're young and have always been interested in martial arts or older and need to get back into shape. Whatever reason you choose to visit CSC -you won't be disappointed! more

Excellent School! 4/22/2011

This place more than anything has changed my life! The people here are so friendly, helpful, and patient! I have grown in confidence, martial skill, and health. I have recommended this school to all of my friends and family. Master Sharon and David Soard are the best teachers out there! I am honored to be their student. more

Excellent Kung Fu School 3/14/2011

I've studied here on and off over the years. It's a traditional Kung Fu school with an amazing amount of material. Classes are fun, and you'll find yourself looking forward to the next level of material. The classes can go a little over, but the instructors like to end class with interesting history and background discussions. The school isn't geared around kids and kid tournaments, which is a big money-maker for most martial arts schools these days. Somehow they keep the fees low, and you can tell instructors are teaching from the heart. Highly recommended! more

A good school with a few downsides 2/26/2007

I was a student at the CSC off and on for a couple years. I really enjoyed myself there. The instructors are fantastic, the people are friendly and I really learned a lot. There are a few things to consider though. more

The best Kung Fu in town 5/3/2006

If you are looking for a martial arts instruction that will last you a lifetime look no further. The Chinese Shao-Lin Centers offer a vast array of complete Kung Fu and Tai Chi systems. The school are led by Elder Masters Sharon and David Soard and serve as the home schools for fourteen other schools throughout the country. Elder Master David and Sharon are wonderful teachers whose passion and dedication for the art inspire all of their students. The students are also wonderful and welcoming to all who come in the door. I highly recommend this instruction to all seekers of Chinese Martial Arts. Enjoy! Pros: Great Value, Inexpensive , Vast Material more
