China View West

I eat Chinese buffet too much and not enough fresh cooked like China View has to offer. Wow. I was visiting my aunt and we didn't feel like heading out for dinner so she suggested we order from China View and chef Robin. Delivery was free and timely and we ended up getting a ton of food for what we ordered. I got to sample a lot of everything and was very impressed. The Lemon chicken was good and had cucumbers in it. They gave it a light crisp taste to the recipe. Another difference from standard Chinese food recipes was the inclusion of corn in the Egg Drop Soup. It was decent but not the best version of this soup I've had. Maybe if the corn was a little more fresh? Mongolian Chicken with asparagus was great were the egg rolls and cheese puffs. I think my favorite item was the Chicken and Shrimp with cashews. It tasted awesome and the shrimp was very fresh. I can easily imagine it came out of the ocean the same day. This restaurant does not catch your eye from the street but once you enter it, you will be delighted by the Asian decorations around the room. The food is of exceptional quality and taste and the portion sizes are great. To top it off, the prices are extremely moderate. Some items to definitely try include the potstickers, the Hunan Beef Tenderloin, the sizzling rice, the walnut shrimp, and the lettuce wraps. We have not experienced a bad meal yet and we continue to try new and different dishes at each visit. Chef and owner, Robin, makes his way around the room to ensure that you are pleased with your meal. He will even cater to your likings by creating off-the-menu items if you so choose.
