I needed a flatbed tow 75 miles up to a shop in Rockford, based on City Search Reviews i called Chicago Planet Towing and spoke with Russel we arranged the time and location formy car to be picked up at. Russell let me know it may not be him picking up the car and it might be another driver but they would take great care of me also. Well Russell turned out to be the driver and arrived as promised, he even called to tell me he was running a few minutes behind. He did a great job of getting the car hooked up safely & without damage, he towed me to Rockford right on time. Great service, honest & friendly, and great rates too, way less than some other quotes i got. I'll be recommending him to anyone i know if they should ever need a tow. Thanks Russell! more

I just used Chicago Planet Towing to remove my car off ou a large boulder I some home found my car resting on when I came out side my home to fine my car was not only on a boulder but had been stuck in the driver side which is what placed my poor car on top of that boulder. The driver came out and went right to work on getting my car off of the big rock which seemed to take him about 20 minutes and then I had them tow the car to my auto body shop to have the repairs done. I needed to tow truck and fast. I called my son who looked around and then called me back with several numbers for me to call. I tried 5 of them and they all seemed to be not willing to help me or were just too busy to come and rescue my off the expressway. On my sixth call I got in touch with Chicago Planet towing company and their dispatcher said she would have a driver out to me right away and she would inform the state police so they might come and sit with me while I waited. There truck showed up in about 25 minutes which seemed to me a bit long. I realize I fell that way because the situation I was in but then again I was on the expressway. Their driver cam to my window and helped my to his truck and inside and made sure I was out of harms way was what he called it. Then loaded my car. Just about then the state police arrive to sit with me. Although I no longer needed their help because my towing service had already arrived. The driver asked me where I would like to tow the ca to and I explained to him I have not broken down in a car in many years and if he could help me choose a shop. The driver said that Saab tech would be a great place to tow my car to since they specialize on my make of car. The choice was a great one because the shop had my car fixed that same day. My son who is a student at UIC called me and said that he had just locked his keys in the car & it was in the on position. I called Chicago Planet towing company and they immediately went over and unlocked his car. Not only did the door need to be opened but my son's car now had a dead battery. Recently I got a flat tire and had no spare. I needed to have my car towed to a tire shop. I found this company and called. The dispatcher was very polite and helpful, they found a local tire shop and sent a driver to get me. Although I was told it'd be 35 minutes it took almost 40 for the driver to get to me. That was the only flaw in the whole experience. The driver was very polite and clean. I was treated very nicely and my car was towed with safety and care. The rates were very reasonable and I was very pleased with the whole ordeal. I will surely use this company again if I find myself in need of a tow truck in the future. Great fast affordable service in the very early morning hours. I came out to go to work and my damn doors were frozen shut and would not open. I called planet towing and they came out and the driver was able to open my door and get me back on my way. Pros: Fast Service at 3:45 AM in the morning Cons: it Cost me $75 more
