Cheyenne Vista

Lived in Cheyenne Vista for just over 2 years in the apartments at the top of the property. The first 8 months I lived here was pretty hectic, they had car break ins and trashy conditions which I think was mostly due to the residents. A lot of folks moved out and new ones came in, the car break in stopped completely, the management group now has security patrolling from 9 to 6 am. Property areas have been better maintained then was done previously, Still a little slow with the maintenance turn around time, but thankfully, I havent had anything major needing to be done. more

my husband and i moved to cheyenne vista because we were looking for something cheap so we could start saving money. we understood that we wouldnt be living at the broadmoor, but we sent more money there then if we would have just kept our loft apartment our cars had been broken into 7 times in the 8 months we lived there we'd complain to management and they just say ""theres nothing we can do."" they wouldnt even make a report about it. you have to call them more then once if somethings broken. during the summer our air didnt work (i was 4 months pregnant) i called them sereval times about the air and every time it was next week it'll be fixed i went pretty much the whole summer with no air, one day i was on my way out the house and the handle just fell off i called the office immediately someone came to fix it like two hrs later and right before we left people were starting to braking into appartments. i would consider being homeless before living there again more

This place is awful on a good day. There are any number of criminals in the parking lot at any time, just looking to commit a crime. They openly smoke illegal substances in the parking lot, slash peoples tires, have ""parties"" in the parking lot, stairs, and anywhere else they can find to do it. The noise levels at all hours of the day and night are impossible to deal with. Just try to get management to do something, they say the will, but it never happens. If you like gangs, then this is the place for you. If you are decent and honest-do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY! This is not the place for people who pay their rent on time, or have kids that they do not want corrupted. Please, if you are decent, find somewhere else to go. Good Luck.
