We cater several events a year for our organization and Chef Nick Mueller and his staff were far and above the best that we have ever had. The food was unbelievable; make sure that you request his Grand Marnier Cake. Everyone in attendance was talking about how amazing the food was all night. Chef Nick doesn't stop at excellent food. His service is great as well. 15 minutes before the food was served I realized that we had a problem with something completely unrelated to the catering and needed to push the dinner back 30 minutes. This was absolutely no problem for Nick and he was somehow able to still deliver the food hot. If you are planning an event in Savannah and you want the best, then there is no other option besides Chef Nick Mueller and Company! more

Chef Nick was an absolute dream to work with and a consummate professional every step of the way. We had a destination wedding and had chosen a wonderful venue, the Telfair Museum, that does not have a kitchen on premises, and this scared alot of other caterers and thus restricted us by quoting us very high prices for a sit down dinner. My husband and I both wanted a sit down dinner and not a buffet for our wedding and Chef Nick was not frightened by this request and worked with us to make it a reality. When we met him, we had the pleasure of a long tasting meal with him at his home in Guyton and he helped us devise a menu that reflected the local palate as well as our own food preferences. By the time we left we had our perfect menu all finished - it was exactly the scrumptious menu served at our wedding - and a decadent cake selected. His wife Tracy is a wonderful baker and, after tasting a slice of her pound cake, we asked them to make our wedding cake. Since we decided on our wedding vendors ten months before the event, we also were fortunate enough to become friends with Nick and his wife. We had a few calls with him over the course of the planning to make sure we were staying in our budget and that the seasonal and locally grown items would still be in stock. Nick was amazing to work with for many reasons but an important one is that he is committed to staying within your budget and making your perfect meal a reality within those confines. He is very up front about what can and can't be done within a certain range and is transparent with all his pricing. He told us up front that there would be an extra cost for more waitstaff since we had no kitchen and everything would need to be brought from the kitchen he erected outside; he then worked with us to make sure this did not affect our vision for the meal. It was his idea for us to do a duo appetizer and main plating so that we could get all the flavors and dishes we wanted and it was one of the unique and remarkable things about our menu. The day of the wedding Nick, Tracy and all the staff at our wedding were outstanding. Nick and Tracy made sure that everything came out according to the timeline we had given them and their staff checked with us as well as our family throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Our wedding had for phenomenal food and service, with beautiful presentation, seamless service and perfectly cooked food. I have never had such delicious food at any event and it was quite possibly the most wonderful meal I've ever had - bar none. Everything was exquisite and exactly how we wanted it. The service was also impeccable and amazingly attentive; not just for David and I but for each of the guests and I think everyone was so impressed with not just the food (we keep hearing rave reviews) but about how wonderful the service was to go along with the splendid food. Chef Nick Mueller is amazing at what he does! As wedding planners in Savannah, we highly recommend Chef Nick to our clients. When we meet with him and introduce him to our clients, they immediately fall in love with his personality. He is so easy to talk to and has a sixth sense when it comes to reading the couple. He listens attentively and always comes up with the perfect menu. On the day of the wedding, he is completely professional and is able to pull of the event without a hitch. Chef Nick Mueller catered our wedding reception in October after two friends of ours highly recommended him to us. Nick worked with us to customize our wedding menu. The food was so fresh and delicious. Even our wedding guests kept commenting on how great the food was. Tracy made us a beautiful and heavenly wedding cake. There are so many things I want to say, but there isn't enough room for all of the praise Chef Nick deserves. Eight years ago we met these wonderful people,and they made our wedding an event. To this day, the food and the service are the most remembered aspect friends reminisce about our wedding. Their food is impeccable and original, fresh and perfectly tailored to any need. Professionalism to the highest regard, Chefs Nick and Tracy are always polite and approachable and their staff is always courteous. Chef Nick & Tracy are both outstanding! After one meeting with them, I found my caterers! Every detail was handled very expediently and professionally. I never worried about how the end product would turn out when talking with Nick or Tracy! They made me feel at ease and truly delivered to this, I hate to say it?bridezilla! I even told them about a particular tempura asparagus appetizer I had eaten in the past and they were able to replicate it and make my taste buds sing! They far surpassed my expectations! The food was fabulous and the presentation was even more fabulous; prior to the main course hor d'oeuvres were passed on silver platters by servers in pristine white coats & chef hats, along with a beautiful antipasti bar covered with exotic meats, cheeses, olives, breads, honey, etc. The main service line was decorated with my flowers of choice and the food was in beautiful silver or crystal servers. They also made a specialty tiramisu wedding cake, a groom?s cake that was a 3-tier cheesecake designed and decorated special for my husband, and an assortment of homemade mini canolli?s were also provided to accompany my Italian wedding theme. They far exceeded my expectations when I found them mopping my floors and cleaning the entire kitchen, dining, and living room?s, which left my home cleaner then when they came in! We found Chef Nick Mueller to be very friendly and a nice person in general; however, when it comes to business, he didn't seem to have what it takes. We received more apology emails than business emails, and after 6 months of trying to pin him down for a menu for our wedding reception, we ended up having to switch caterers last minute. We were unfortunately very disappointed because we were looking forward to working with him and he came recommended. We seemed very low priority, and most everything that we discussed during our meeting seemed to be forgotten as the days (actually, months!) passed. We would not recommend choosing Chef Nick Mueller for your catered event. more

They bend over backwards to help and will create amazing custom menus or give you examples to choose from. You'll make no better decision then to work with Nick & Tracey. Pros: thoughtful, great suggestions, easy to work with Cons: you can't bring them home with you for good! more
