Changing Faces is a wonderful salon!! Convinced that I should be wearing my hair like one of the real housewives of Atlanta or Love and Hip Hop ATL, I trekked down to Georgia from North Carolina to find a stylist to pull off this feat. After doing some research, I settled in on Changing Faces Salon and I’m glad I did. This salon has exactly the type of atmosphere that I love, laid back and relaxed. \r I went in for a full sew in weave and Ms. Debbie was my stylist. She enlightened me tremendously on better steps to take care of my natural hair as well as the new weave. I purchased the Brazilian hair and I’m really glad I did, it looks and feels amazing. I thought I was too cute when I left the salon and my fiancé loved, loved, loved my hair. I’m really glad I chose Changing Faces Salon as I will definitely be returning again to see Ms. Debbie. \r Other clients leaving the salon also walked out with their hair looking fabulous, so I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone!! \r more

Changing Faces is awesome! Debbie is the truly the best at what she does. I drove an hour to get my hair done by her & glad I did! Debbie is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel absolutely comfortable. I learned more about hair and hair care in that appointment that I've learned in years! This is was my first time buying Brazilian hair, and I definitely won't be going back to the beauty supply store ever again. The hair was perfect! Seriously! I definitely recommend Debbie and Changing Faces salon. The have a forever customer in me. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 12/11/2012

Changing Faces is a very professional hair salon where good hair care truly is their business. I was looking for a good weave stylist and I called the salon to schedule a consultation with Debbie Williams. Debbie educates her clients on the importance of maintaining healthy hair while wearing weaves. She has a method to braiding that stimulates hair growth. I was skeptical at first because I had so many bad experiences, but that all changed after my first appointment. I came in for a sew- in and style. The hair Debbie recommended is virgin Brazilian and she guided me to the salon website to order the hair in advance. This hair is the real deal!! It is light and full of body (excellent choice for African American hair), no shedding, washable, and re-useable. Next, Debbie proceeded to braid my hair and I did not even realize she was braiding! No tightness or headaches afterwards. She takes her time and braids with precision. The finish product was absolutely amazing. She blended my natural hair with the weave and it was beautiful (and no tangled hair when taking down). I prefer weaves because I have a heavy amount of gray hair and no one could tell. If you?re looking for good hair care with professionalism, I urge you to visit this salon. I?m a client and I take my daughters (11 and 14) as well. Great stylists are at this location! more

I started my natural hair journey approximately 8 months ago while relocating to the Tennessee area. I was sceptical about going to a salon for to fact that some salons don't like to be bothered with natural clients. However, I really wanted a sew-in! I started my search on YouTube & Other sites & one salon kept popping up & it was Changing Faces Salon & Spa in Marietta! I called & the professional staff gave my information to the Salon owner Debbie Williams. She called me back & immediately I knew she was not your average stylist. She educated me on the keys to having healthy hair & encouraged me to stay natural! I felt comfortable making the 3 hour drive to see her (I even ordered my Brazilian hair from her)! When my son & I got there, Debbie treated us like family. She talked to me about my hair & listened to what I wanted! I received a good wash & conditioning before my install. I was most amazed by the fact that my braids didn't hurt. Even during the install, the thread she used was different no tugging on my hair, it just glides thru like silk. When she was finished my ""naptural"" hair blended right in with the Brazilian hair. I still can't believe how natural it looks & most important.. NO TIGHT SEW-IN HEADACHE!! I am very happy with the service I received. I will be making the 3 hour drive to go back again because besides the fact that my hair is amazing.. she treated me like family & not just another $. Be Blessed! more

I Am Truly Impressed!!!!! 3/4/2012

I am truly impressed with such patience and professionalism I received from the first phone call. I spoke to Shalonda and she was so patient and understanding that she made me want to come in to the Salon and see what more I could find out. From the moment I walked in the door I felt comfortable and welcome. That is so rare today. I am an ex-stylist from the days of when you made your customer feel like they are the only one in the shop. That is how all of the stylist made me feel. Shalonda was my stylist and I feel she was extremely informative and supportive to what I was looking for. She has a very patient personality and that was helpful to me. Shalonda did a wonderful job on my hair and I will return. I liked all the ladies in the salon and would recommend all of them. I watched a couple of ladies hair get completed while I was there and they looked great! I was in and out by the time Shalonda told me my service would take. I received the Keratin Treatment and I loved my hair when I left. I definately recommend this Salon to everyone who really values service and your time. My appointment started on time and ended on schedule. It was quiet and serene. Thank you for your professionalism. more

Best Salon Experience 11/8/2011

This was by far the best salon experience I've ever had! Not only did my hair turn out phenomenal (thank you Debbie!!!) but she was professional, kind, and worked WITH me. She asked me what I wanted, rather than making me feel pressured into something a stylist might want. She stayed late to get my crazy hair tamed with the awesome Keratin Treatment- and basically saved my wedding photos from disaster! Changing Faces Salon all around atmosphere is professional yet puts you at ease. How unfortunate I've moved out of state, I don't think anyone else will compare! more

AWESOME EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE!! 11/18/2010

WOW! I am extremely satisfied with the level of service and professionalism I received at ""Changing Faces Salon"". Debbie is now my ""New/Personal"" stylist. I love my hair, but most importantly...my husband loves my hair. He is thoroughly pleased with the results, and his compliments are well received. Debbie was excellent!! She took the time to give me a one on one consultation about my hair that I so desperately needed. I was very impressed with her ease of conversation, and her ability to drop her vast knowledge of hair care and hair care products on me without allowing belittlement to enter into my consultation. She actually ""LISTENED"" to me. If you're looking for relaxation, professionalism (shout out to the receptionist/admin...she's great), and drop dead gorgeous hair...this is the salon for you! more

You just can't get NO better! 10/7/2010

I was visiting the area from PA and was sitting in my hotel looking online for good ""black"" hair salons in Atlanta. A number of choices came up and one of them was Changing Faces. I watched there video (the girl's hair was jacked up..lol) But the video sold me. I called that evening, made an appointment with Marcey (who is now my personal stylist). more

Great Hair Place if you are new to the Area 11/17/2009

I started going to Changing Faces a few weeks ago after having a really bad experience over a year ago with a stylist from TradeSecret. It was devastation to say the least. She burned one side of my hair off and this was the first time anything like that has ever happened to me. I didn't know what to do or where to turn, so I just stopped going to any stylist all together. Let me just say, my experience with Atlanta stylist have not been really good. I kept feeling like, ""Wait, I'm suppose to live in a city where all the well known stylist are...so why am I haven't so much difficulty finding someone"". That all changed when I met Debbie. First off, I knew that whomever I went to would have wanted me to get a perm (because that's what all stylist recommend). Dealing with natural hair is not a norm for stylist. So I decided to go talk with Debbie before making an appointment (just to make sure this salon was what I was looking for). As soon as I came in the door, I was greeted with a huge smile from Debbie. She introduced herself to me and put me in her chair to look at my hair. She was willing to hear my concerns while providing the best advice for my hair. I was waiting for her to say, ""You will need to get a perm""....but her advice was the complete opposite (she said she would not recommend getting a perm...especially now). I almost wanted to ask her ""Say that again"" b/c I couldn't beleive it at first. She decided to do what was best for my hair and I really appreciate the time she took out to look at my hair and evaluate my needs. Everytime I go into Debbie's salon, I feel at home and comfortable. I like that feeling because that means she's doing her job and doing it well. I love the customer service she gives. I will definitely keep going to Debbie as long as I'm in the state of Ga. I'm so excited because I'm going to get some extensions put in for Thanksgiving and everyone says she's really good with extensions. My recommendation is to definitely check Debbie out at Changing Faces Salon and Spa in Kennesaw, GA if you are looking for a stylist and haven't found one that you like yet. more

Nairobi, Professionalism, and Great Atmosphere! 4/3/2009

I love the level of professionalism and certainly the atmosphere, but most of all, I LOVE Nairobi products and stylists that actually know how to use them! I found Debbie on my first trip, and she is the reason I will be returning! I'm so happy to have found this salon! Pros: See headline:...Nairobi, Professionalism & Great Atmosphere! Cons: I live 35 minutes away (*without traffic) more

Best Weave Stylist in Atlanta 2/25/2009

I am usually not one to write a review for any product or service. Today, however, I must. I have worn weaves for many years and have gone to many reputable stylists in Atlanta and Los Angeles. I have finally found a stylist that has exceeded my expectations for a weave. My first encounter with Debbie was fantastic. She took the time to consult with me about the condition of my hair and what we needed to do to keep it healthy underneath the weave. She then recommended that I use ""Salon Relaxed Hair"" that is high end, high quality hair that looks like relaxed hair for black folks. Now the weave. Very natural looking, smooth, no lumps or bumps. She cut my hair in long layers that will allow my hair natural movement. Can't wait to take the top down on my car. I could go on and on, but I won't. You must experience it for yourself. Ask for Debbie. A true professional. more

Professional Environment 1/9/2009

This salon provides great service in a professional environment with reasonable prices. If you are looking for a personable stylist who will make sure your hair care needs are met, try Debbie. I highly recommend Changing Faces Salon. more

Changing Faces is Awesome!!! 10/1/2008

My experience at Changing Faces was the best that I have had at any Atlanta hair salon-- and I have been here going on four years! Debbie is an excellent, professional stylist who is very sensitive to the needs of her clients. I am still getting compliments on the beautiful sew-in that she did for me. Debbie is very patient and she is willing to answer any questions or address any hair concerns or issues that her client may have. Moreover, she has lots of knowledge about hair as well as hair care products currently on the market. As a result, her hair care techniques surpass those of any stylists that I have experienced in Atlanta. I would advise anyone to go to Changing Faces. The salon is beautiful, clean and comfortable and Debbie and her staff are pleasant and accommodating. I will DEFINITELY be going back! Pros: Professional stylists, clean environment, beautiful hair! more

best in town 9/7/2008

I finally found a salon who take the time and effort to make sure my hair/split ends are healthy, I wear my hair natural and Debbie is excellent with the care and maintenance of natural hair, The prices are reasonable and Debbie works one on one with you,Thats a rare find, Esp with other salons being over-booked all the time, Changing faces salon is the best for great service and hair care! Pros: price, service, time, personal care Cons: n/a more

EXCELLENTE!! 9/5/2008

Truly one of the best salon and spas this side of the ATL and beyond. Honestly, the owner Debbie and her staff are of the utmost in professionalism which I am most impressed! Debbie is concerned about the patron's health of the hair as well as the up-to-date styles. She uses the best products for conditioning and styling and I will be seeing her again in a few days. I was a stylist for many years, so I am a ''very hard to please"" customer if I must say so myself-but I will only trust Debbie to care for and cut my hair. more

This salon is the SPOT Ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8/27/2008

I am a frequent customer of changing faces, and the service is wonderful! I have been to many stylists in the past and I always wanted that ""it"" look and Debbie especially at Changing Faces is the bomb! She is oh so fab! My hair is always on point! It always looks hot and sophisticated. I have never been to such professionals who are knowledgeable of their job. This place is it for me! I love this salon! The best part is I get hair weaves all the time (sew-ins to be exact)! The sew-in is the best! The best part about it is it looks so natural. At Changing Faces, your stylist just don't do your do. She makes sure you see and understand every step along the way and make sure you have input to your style. But back to my sew-in, before I came to Changing Faces I had horrible experiences with sew-ins. They just weren't natural. I wanted the Beyonce look. When I went in, Debbie, my stylist, knew her stuff! This includes every one in the salon. They treat your hair, make it health. You will look like a true diva. Everywhere I go, it is so hilarious because people ask who does your hair? This is the best hair salon in the ATL by far. It's also funny that not one person believed my hair was a sew-in, not even my mother. It looks so natural. Jaws drop when I reveal my secret. The prices are very affordable for sew-ins. Once I paid $300 for a jacked-up sew-in. But at Changing Faces it was a much cheaper price with better treatment and far better quality. Wherever Changing Faces goes, I will also because this hair salon is the salon of my dreams. They even offer great products for the hair. I just love the salon. The staff is always punctual and make sure you get individual attention for your haircare. Ladies please you need to stop by the salon. You won't regret it. I wrote this review because this salon needs to be known and I will make sure its greatness will be put out there! Thanx Pros: Service, Cleanliness, Punctuality more

I Won't Go Anywhere Else!!! 8/20/2008

I love, love, love this salon! Its so hard to find a stylist that can handle my hair but the ladies at Changing Faces have no problem handling it! I really cant say enough about this place. They take care of my hair and they are helping me get me healthy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Changing Faces! more

Best Weave Ever! 8/12/2008

""Great experience!!! I am from New York City and it is very hard to please me seeing as though I am used to working with the best. I have tried several upscale salons in the Atlanta and this by far was my best experience yet. My weave is FABULOUS and I have not stopped getting compliments! Debbie was my stylist, she too is from NY and she is the best! I would definitely recommend this salon to everyone. If you're getting a weave please make sure to ask for Debbie, you will NOT be disappointed."" Pros: Great stylists, great atmosphere, great location, great price more

My cut is better than Rihanna's 7/15/2008
