I started acne treatment in April 2005. I continued until Jan 2006. Overall, my skin did not get better. My skin is still OILY and I have frequent breakouts. They said that my skin was suppose to get better within the next 6 months after my last treatment, obviously, it did not. You would think that Celibre would give you a call after 6 months for a follow-up, but they didn't. The only pro about Celibre is that the office is clean. I spent $3500 and it is not worth it. At the consultation, they claimed that I would be satisfied with my results...what results!?
I got better results when I went to get a deep cleansing facial in July 2006, and my skin has been better. She recommended mixing 1/2 water & 1/2 aloe vera juice (found at Trader Joe's) in a dixie cup and freeze it. Apply the ice to the affected areas twice a day. Once a day after icing, apply benzoyl peroxide to the affected areas. I've been doing this for about a month, and my breakouts are not so frequent. I hope this helps. I have suffered acne since my teens (I am 31) and I know what it feels like to feel upset, angry and sad.
Pros: Clean facility.
Cons: Not worth your money.
