Excellent Italian Food 11/28/2010

My wife and my favorite Italian restaurant. They have the best calamari around. They also have great soups. Normally, I will get the tomato bisque, but this time I tried their chicken soup. It was out of this world. Next time I get sick, I'm ordering some chicken soup to go. My wife always orders the chicken bryan. I usually order one of the a tomato pasta dishes. Their house salads are tasty. The bread always comes out hot and fresh. We have never had a bad meal there. It is always beyond our expectations. The servers are excellent, well trained and attentive. Every time we live, we say that we just ate the best meal we've had. more

Finally - Great Service & Great Food In One Place! 10/4/2008

While most chain restaurants are average at best, this Carrabba's location is far better than what I had anticipated. While the food is always very tasty and made to your specifications, the customer service is the big draw here. I've become jaded in my expectations at most places, but it is nice to see a staff that really cares about your dining experience.\r \r My husband and I have been here several times, only once having any kind of problem with our meal. That one time, we gently told the waitress what was wrong with my food. Within seconds the manager came out, comp'ed BOTH our meals, gave us both free dessert, and remade my meal for me to take home, throwing in an extra tiramisu. I didn't even make a scene to get that treatment. My husband and I were both bowled over.\r \r The food is always great. I normally get the Pollo Rosa Maria, but the Chicken Bryan is to die for, too. The house salad is a great starter and far better than any other house version you can find elsewhere. I would also suggest the red wine sangria - even if you aren't a red wine fan. I was a skeptic about it at first, but I took a sip of my husband's once and have ordered my own ever since. For dessert, the tiramisu is fabulous - not too sweet, real marscapone and not the vanilla pudding that some places try to fool you with. The atmosphere is nice - very relaxed, dimmed lighting but not so dark that need a flashlight. The music is on, but not something that you need to raise your voice to talk over.\r \r If you like great food, amazing service and the sounds of Sinatra serenading you while you eat, this is place for you. Pros: amazing service, great food, intimate Cons: might be a bit grown-up for kids more

Despite corporate origin, a very nice dinner with exceptional service. 7/21/2007

I usually avoid corporate chains, but really enjoyed this dinner.\r \r Surprisingly accommodating service, very customized and responsive. Seemed legitimately enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about the menu.\r \r Food was hot, freshly prepared, too-generous and delicious. Even the salad was incredibly fresh on iced plate. The pasta sauce was very buttery, but nicely prepared.\r \r Their approach to wine is interesting and not as off-putting as the Macaroni Grill jug.\r 1) The wine menu is instructive, dividing vintages by body/strength.\r 2) Almost every wine is avail by the glass \r 3) You can ask for a taste for any wine (I had 2) that's served by the glass (nearly all their brands)\r 4) Upon choosing, you can order a glass or a ""quartino"" which is a glass-&-a-half, quite perfect for me.\r \r Nice touch: They filled the doggy-box in the kitchen, and it was labeled & dated when brought to us.\r \r Lastly, since their website provides the whole menu as ascii-text, I can order to-go next time from my Palm's memo.\r \r Surprisingly impressed. more
