My Favorite Golf Store 1/26/2011

I've been shopping at Carl's Golfland since I started playing golf about 9 years ago...my parents used to take me there to just hit balls before I could drive myself.\r \r I'm not 26 years old and have a much different outlook on the store and staff than the last reviewer that I read on here. I mean come on, Carls lets you try all the new golf clubs out on their driving range for FREE (no charge!) I've been to other stores around town (Golfsmith, Dicks, King Par) and all their sales guys seem to be very pushy especially towards certain brands.\r \r I've never felt that the clubs salesmen at Carls were pushy at all or wanted me to buy a certain club that I was trying. I don't have a lot of money either, but everytime I go in to Carls I'm always impressed with their service and prices. I found a set of irons that I wanted and went home to try to find a lower price and price match them and couldn't find the irons lower anywhere online.\r \r I've never purchased anything from their website b more

First off the reviews that have been written before mine look somewhat suspicious like a employee wrote them, I mean "mens and women's apparel" usually when you write a review as a MAN who went there you dont notice there stock in the women's section oh and 3 of them include 4 of the same sentences "renovated driving range" "golf lessons didn't help but I just am crummy" and etc... but whatever I just want to say that as a 24 year old and anybody under the age of 48 should go somewhere else, oh that is unless you walk in waving cash in your hand... I have been glazed over by so many employees there only to find them asking the fat old guy next to me if he needs anything. Do you want a stiff shaft on your club? well It's not up to you because I guess the employees there DO KNOW better because they straight tell you what you should use and when you say I would rather try this one believe me you will get that your an amature look from them. after spending around 600 dollars there in one s more

Carl's Golfland, located on Telegraph Road, north of Square Lake Road, in Bloomfield Hills is the areas best golf pro shop and driving range. With a full line of golf clubs, men's and ladies' apparel, and accessories, there isn't anything that you won't be able to find at this beautiful store. Carl's also offers lessons for beginners to advanced players and just recently completed an extensive renovation of the driving range. I can't say that the lessons that I took helped my game... I'm just a not all that good The staff is friendly and helpful. Their hours are convenient and they are open year round. more

For all your golfing needs 9/15/2005

This is best place to go and get anything you need for golf. They carry all different kinds of clubs, golf balls, golf bags, golf shoes, apparel and too much more to mention. If you are not sure what kind of club you want - they will let you test it before you buy it. They are very helpful and you always find what you looking for. I can spend some time in here because there is so much to look at and the place is very organized. more

It offers a variety of cart heaters, towels, umbrellas, headcovers, bags, balls, shirts, shorts and pants. The facility also maintains a collection of books, videos and DVDs. In addition, Carl s Golfland provides gloves, chippers, shoes, travel covers and wedges from various manufacturers. It features a clubhouse, as well as conducts online golf lessons. The facility offers range finders, putters and hybrid sets. Carl's Golfland is located in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
