Just wanted to commend your business on the quick, professional, and wonderful service I received when I brought my car in for repairs. I had dealt with Chris G., before at another repair business so it was nice to see her smiling face again. It was a nice surprise to receive a free gift and have my car cleaned inside and out. more

I had my 1999 Camry repaired at Car Crafters last week to fix some clear coat issues. As usual, the repairs were outstanding. You have a business that enjoys a VERY HIGH customer satisfaction index and I'm certainly one of those happy campers. I will recommend Car Crafters every chance I get. more

Best Shop in Albuquerque 9/20/2010

I've had a number of vehicles repaired at Car Crafters and the quality of work has been outstanding. They really know how to repair damages vehicles and their paint work is the best I've seen. I recently had a vehicle completely repainted by them and the paint job was much better than the original Mercedes-Benz factory paint. more

  • Welcome to Car Crafters! We are a locally owned and operated shop in Albuqeurque, New Mexico and have been in businessfor over 32 years. When he was younger, owner and founder Jim Guthrie developed a passion for racing which led to a knack for fixing cars. He started repairing cars for friends and family out of his parents garage. When their cul-de-sac reached it's capacity, Guthrie's parents told him to stop and focus on college or get his own body shop. In January 1982, Guthrie chose the latter and started Car Crafters in a one car garage. Today, Car Crafters has a 70,000 square foot facility right in the heart of Albuqeurque.
