Welcome to Car Crafters! We are a locally owned and operated shop in Albuqeurque, New Mexico and have been in businessfor over 32 years. When he was younger, owner and founder Jim Guthrie developed a passion for racing which led to a knack for fixing cars. He started repairing cars for friends and family out of his parents garage. When their cul-de-sac reached it's capacity, Guthrie's parents told him to stop and focus on college or get his own body shop. In January 1982, Guthrie chose the latter and started Car Crafters in a one car garage. Today, Car Crafters has a 70,000 square foot facility right in the heart of Albuqeurque.
