My invitation clearly stated that it was a free dinner following an informational seminar and insurance presentation entitled Different Retirement Strategies, that we may be offered information on purchasing insurance products but NO products would be sold at the event. When making investments it is always best for married couples to make those decisions together, so I can understand making that a requirement. My husband and I attended a dinner courtesy of Frank Minkewicz and Capital Concepts. He was engaging, made good sense and was very knowledgable. We made and attended and appointment where again, he was very honest and helpful. He went through the financial information/statemenets I had brought him and was very honest about what I should and shouldn't invest in a Flexible Annuity account. I am definitely recommending my friends attend his seminar next time it comes around. more

I was asked to a workshop and not till I got there Frank said if my better half did not get there by the time he started he would not let her in. I felt he was rude, suspect and this workshop was not what he advertised. So I did a Google Search for Frank Minkewicz and look at the result from www.finra.org very interesting. This experience led me not to do business with him as I need trust my savings with someone that does not play games and my experience is exactly what he did. Not a good trait for a financial planner. Go with a big brokerage firm as an option. I also was surprised I could not find detailed information about him and his company. more
