I usually don't write reviews but I believe the work Candace does is more than worthy of recognition! She photographed my wedding in April of 2008 and was so great to work with. She caught every important moment, worked extensively with me to decide the type of photos I wanted and put together a gorgeous memory book of all the wedding photos! I couldn't be happier and look at my wedding photos all the time.\r \r My husband and I were so impressed with her work we came back after having our first baby. Candace makes every photo session stress free. She knows what she is doing and gets the shots done. My family will continue to come to Candace to document all of our special occasions. more

Candace is by far the best out there!!\r \r I met Candace a little over two years ago when she was the photographer at my sisters wedding. She was so organized and her and her assistant made everything go so smoothly during all the pictures that my sister requested to take.\r \r A few months later Candace started capturing my sons first year in pictures and she completely blew me away with her talent and creativity that she puts into every session with her clients. Candace has just started taking pictures of my newborn daughter as well as my niece. \r \r I will never take my family anywhere else to be photographed! I had the pleasure of meeting Candace when my daughter was planning her wedding. I immediately knew that she was the right photographer for the job and has since become a good friend as well. She makes sure the bride and groom have input in the photos that they want taken on the big day. She and her assistant took all of the requested photos and also many others that captured the entire wedding and reception and remained inconspicuous throughout it all. I was totally impressed and I'm sure you would be too. \r Since then she has photographed all of my grandchildren and will remain my photographer of choice for all of the special events in my life. more

Candace shot my wedding in July of 08 at Tuscany Villa in Katy. I first found Tuscany Villa and they recommended two photographers and Cadace was the first one I met. After meeting with her there was no need to meet the other photographer. The chemistry just clicked right away. She listened to what I wanted and also gave suggestions about what she thinks would work. She shot our engagement pictures, my bridal pictures and our wedding pictures and all of them were beautiful. She takes so much pride in her work and you can tell by the quality of the pictures. By the time the wedding was over and all pictures were selected not only was Candace my photographer but she seemed like a friend. Eighteen months after my wedding Chris and I had the pleasure of working with Candace again for maternity pictures and also she is capturing our daughter's first year. Every picture she takes of our daughter is amazing. I have referred everyone I know looking for a photographer to Candace. She spends time making sure her pictures are flawless and her framing ability makes the pictures look like art work. If you are looking for a great photographer then you need not look any further. more

Hi! This is Candace! I believe this review was posted by an employee I had to fire since I have never had a wedding client with the 1st name of Rebecca! I have never done a wedding by myself without an assistant or second photographer in my entire career. My brides would NEVER describe me as uncooperative. Very overpriced and disappointing. Candace was uncoorperative as to who wanted their pictures taken and when. When a mistake was pointed out after a shot was taken, Candace ignored the request for a retake. She seemed in such a hurry and only wanted things done her way.\r There are only a few good pictures that came out of this wedding.\r \r Candace only works part time, by herself and we think it is too much of a job for her to handle properly. When we chose her we did not know she was not putting full time work into this. This wedding was quite costly and important to us all.\r \r The whole thing was a fiasco that can not be redone! Choosing Candace Byers Photography was a big mistake. We are still very upset about this. \r Giving her one star is more than generous.\r Rebecca more
