My husband and myself had been patients for many years. We left in 2008. Dr. Parmitter's work ethics got progressively worse. He was too impatient, rough, insensitive, haphazard, and didn't listen. There were several occurances that we explained away but felt could have been prevented. Simple fillings resulted in broken teeth in need of a cap. One visit, he couldn't hit the nerve to get my tooth numb.. As I complained he kept working saying it was just pressure. After much insistance and about 6 shots later my tooth was finally numb. Lastly I suffered for two years with gum pain and inflammation because Dr. Parmitter destroyed the gum layer that surrounded several of my teeth. He broke a lower front tooth at the gum line, and had to cut it out. It was stitched up horribly. This created the need for a crown on the neighboring tooth. He was rushing and being very rough as this was cutting into other appt. times. I went back to him several times about my gum and he would not accept any blame for my problem. I've seen several other dentists since and just had oral surgery. An inch of skin was cut from the roof of my mouth and sewn onto my gum to replace the gum that Parmitter killed. So now I'm still in pain after a costly surgery to correct Parmtter's mistake.
