We purchased two covers to go with a spa and a 7' x 14' swim spa. Both spas are located outside in coastal Oregon weather (lots of rain!). The one panel of the spa cover absorbed moisture the first winter (i.e. first 6 months we owned it). The cover for the swim spa developed a sag in one of the two center panels so rainwater could fill and overflow the pool with each storm. The sagging panel also started to absorb moisture during its first summer (the following 4 months).
Cal Cover Products' 3-year warranty means ZERO, NIL, ZILCH, NOTHING, NADA because, even if the product is totally defective, the purchaser still has to pay shipping BOTH ways.
I don't know if this business is still operating (I would hope not!) but, if it is, don't purchase their products - you'll be very sorry.
We replaced these pieces of trash with SpaCaps.
