Purchased a cover and it is defective have been waiting over two weeks for a return call was told at time of purchase has 5 year warranty now trying to say since it was purchased on ebay that the warranty is not valid, so I can assume my cover was defective so the warranty is no good. Very POOR customer service, want the cover replaced more

We purchased two covers to go with a spa and a 7' x 14' swim spa. Both spas are located outside in coastal Oregon weather (lots of rain!). The one panel of the spa cover absorbed moisture the first winter (i.e. first 6 months we owned it). The cover for the swim spa developed a sag in one of the two center panels so rainwater could fill and overflow the pool with each storm. The sagging panel also started to absorb moisture during its first summer (the following 4 months). Cal Cover Products' 3-year warranty means ZERO, NIL, ZILCH, NOTHING, NADA because, even if the product is totally defective, the purchaser still has to pay shipping BOTH ways. I don't know if this business is still operating (I would hope not!) but, if it is, don't purchase their products - you'll be very sorry. We replaced these pieces of trash with SpaCaps. more

This company does not care about their customers. The owner himself is non-responsive! I ended up buying a new spa cover at spacoversplus com. Stay away from Cal Cover!!! Cons: does not return phone calls, orders not completed more
